The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

N.M. Crosse rode Gains Of War (reserve) trained by Luke Comer (Race 3).
H.J. Horgan replaced W. Joyce on Chica Power, trained by Cian Collins (Race 5)(unwell).
P.A. Harnett replaced W. Joyce on Chavajod (GB), trained by D P Coakley (Race 6)(unwell).
M.P. Sheehy replaced W. Joyce on Fashion Flair (GB), trained by John S. O'Donoghue (Race 7)(unwell).

012A Floodlit Fridays At Dundalk H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident just after leaving the stalls involving Rough Diamond, ridden by Sorcha Woods, unplaced, and Marsa, ridden by C.D. Hayes, unplaced, where it appeared Rough Diamond had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Sorcha Woods stated that she had to take a check when getting pressure from her outside. C.D. Hayes stated his charge was slowly away and felt he was clear when making his maneuver. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found C.D Hayes was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for one raceday.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Belle Fourche, trained by Anthony McCann, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stood in the stalls.

H.J. Horgan, rider of Magellan Strait, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left from three furlongs out and had to use his whip down the shoulder for corrective purposes.

R. Whearty, rider of Club Manager (GB), trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Hammersmith, trained by Terence O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Ballybaun Star, trained by Thomas Gibney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slow to jump and missed the break.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Crystal Caves (FR), ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed fifth, and Breagagh, unplaced, ridden by Aileen O'Sullivan where it appeared Breagagh had to take a slight check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.D. Hayes stated that his charge rolled right after using his whip in his left hand but he corrected him immediately. Aileen O'Sullivan stated that she had to take a slight check but was going backwards. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dromantine, trained by M. Halford & T. Collins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Western Cape, trained by E. McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen.

012G1 View Restaurant At Dundalk Stadium H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving General Idea (GB), ridden by Sam Ewing, placed fifth, Goonyaboyya, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, unplaced, and Chica Linda, ridden by P.A. Harnett, unplaced, where it appeared interference had taken place. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P.A. Harnett stated that his charge was leaning left and he corrected it immediately. J.M. Sheridan stated that he felt pressure from his left but kept a straight line. Sam Ewing stated that he kept a straight line and felt pressure from both sides. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Alhaajeb, trained by Richard John O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right up the straight.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Goonyaboyya, trained by Gerard Keane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had to be straightened up at the furlong pole as a result of a minor bump.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Areana, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, placed second, Dreams Fled Away, ridden by H.J. Horgan, placed first, and Dinamine, ridden by Siobhan Rutledge, unplaced, where it appeared interference had taken place. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.M. Sheridan stated that he kept a straight line. H.J. Horgan stated that his charge ran around for a stride but was corrected immediately. Siobhan Rutledge stated that when she changed her hands her charge stepped right and was going backwards. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Siobhan Rutledge, was in breach of Rule 214 in that she had ridden carelessly, and having considered her record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended her for one raceday.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at the furlong pole involving Neddies Boy, ridden by O. McSweeney, placed fourth, and Big Challenge, placed fifth, ridden by D.W. O'Connor where it appeared Big Challenge had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Rider, O. McSweeney stated that his horse drifted slightly but felt he was clear of Big Challenge. D.W. O'Connor stated that he had to take a slight check one furlong down when he got tight for room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found O. McSweeney was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended him for one raceday.

G.P. Halpin, rider of Flier (GB), trained by Mrs Denise Foster, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned slighty right in the final furlong.

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Uberrima Fides (GB), trained by S.R.B. Crawford, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount anticipated the start, headbutted the gates and never travelled.

D.W. O'Connor, rider of Big Challenge, trained by R.Donohoe, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was tight for room a furlong out.

R.M Mulligan, rider of Berlina, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped.
