The Stewards interviewed J.M. Sheridan, rider of Red Avenger (USA), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned in the presence of Miss Hillary McLoughlin, trainer, who accompanied J.M. Sheridan. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that J.M. Sheridan was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record (6th offence), they suspended him for 8 racedays and ordered that he attend R.A.C.E for 1 day's tuition on the correct use of the whip.
W.J. Lee, rider of Lily Lily Rose trained by Aidan Anthony Howard, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right.
C.D. Hayes, rider of Count Of Carabass trained by Miss Hilary McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls and was slowly away.

349F Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk RaceThe Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Ocean Monarch, ridden by S. Foley, placed second and Choice Of Mine (AUS), ridden by S.M. Crosse, placed first, where it appeared Choice Of Mine (USA) drifted into the path of Ocean Monarch (Ire). Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was accidental and therefore took no further action.
R.C. Colgan, rider of Stinglikeabee trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst and was eased thereafter.
K.J. Manning, rider of China's Storm, trained by Anthony Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hesitated when the stalls opened and was slowly away as a result of this.
349G Irishinjuredjockeys.com H'capThe Stewards interviewed J.A. Nash, trainer of City Limits(GB) and Ms. C.S. Murphy I.H.R.B. Clerk of the Scales, after it appeared that City Limits (GB) was carrying the wrong number cloth which had to be changed prior to the start of this race. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards advised both Mr. Nash and Ms. Murphy to familiarise themselves with their obligations in this regard and take greater care in future.
S.T. McCullagh, rider of Estijmaam (GB) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.
