The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D. McMonagle, rider of High Street Lady trained by E.Sheehy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up, having lost all action.

079C Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge H'cap

R.P. Whelan, rider of Eagle's Flight trained by M.Halford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount caught a heel in running.

Sam Ewing, rider of Sense Of Worth trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right up the straight.

The Stewards informed Edward Lynam, trainer that Red Ball Of Fire, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again. The Stewards also informed Edward Lynam that a repeat performance from his charge, who refused to load into stalls, would render his charge liable to future suspension.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kinch, trained by J.F. Levins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing, probably as a result of kickback, but was otherwise post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Gormanston, trained by Nigel Thomas Slevin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

The Stewards interviewed Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Maccliff, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who acepted that she had used her whip with excessive frequency. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisified that Ms Rutledge was in breach of Regualtion 10.3 g ( frequency) and having considered her record in this regard they suspended her for 1 raceday.

The Stewards interviewed N.M. Crosse, rider of No Patience, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that N.M. Crosse was in breach of Regulation 10.3 g (excessive frequency) and having considered his record in this regard suspended him for 2 racedays.

C.J. MacRedmond, rider of Ablah (USA) trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was very slowly into stride.

James J. Doyle, rider of Ellabella trained by Andrew McNamara, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right .

079F Hollywoodbets Support Irish Racing H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Fastman trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount leaned a bit left when when a horse came up on his outside.

079G Hollywoodbets Racing and Sports H'cap

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of It's All A Joke trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount lost action turning in.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Dolce Sicily trained by Lee Smyth, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls and ran keen in the race.

The Stewards requested a report from Joseph G. Murphy, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Fit For Function (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent form. Joseph G. Murphy reported that his charge has never won on a straight track and prefers tracks with a turn such as today's. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

The Stewards reviewed an incident turning into the straight involving It's All A Joke, ridden by Siobhan Rutledge where it appeared her charge lost action. Having viewed the video footage, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
