244A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

C.T. Keane, rider of Eloquent Poet trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stumbled approximately three and a half furlongs out.

W.J. Lee, rider of Musical Rue trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung left throughout.

The Stewards enquired into an incident approximately three and a half furlongs from the finish involving Eloquent Poet, ridden by C.T. Keane, and Mutiny, ridden by S. Foley, where it appeared Eloquent Poet stumbled. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards in light of the inconclusive video evidence could apportion no blame to any individual rider and took no further action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Musical Rue, trained by W. McCreery, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

244B Irish EBF Supporting ICW M'dn

A.J. Slattery, rider of A Delight (FR) trained by Aidan F. Fogarty, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left.

S. Foley, rider of Cruella Dovil trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room after 150 yards.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Cruella Dovil, ridden by S. Foley, Midge Maisel (GB), ridden by O.J. Orr, and Realtin Fantasy, ridden by B.M. Coen, where it appeared Realtin Fantasy shifted left causing interference to Cruella Dovil and Midge Maisel. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. B.M. Coen gave his evidence in the presence of Mr. J. Sleator. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards deemed the incident to have been caused by accidental interference and took no further action.

244C Foran Equine Irish EBF Auction M'dn

Under the provisions of Rule 90, the Stewards allowed Ivy Avenue, trained by J. S. Bolger, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the error identified in the certification of vaccinations would be corrected in accordance with Rule 91 within the timeframe specified.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined The Truant, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

244D Taylor Group Nursery H'cap

D.P. McDonogh, rider of St George's Head trained by Kieran P. Cotter, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped right from the stalls and hung left in the straight.

The Stewards interviewed W.M. Lordan, rider of Calidus Mirabilis (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account cautioned him.

244E Weatherbys General StudbookH'cap

The Stewards fined C. Moore, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Mister Dancer, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Mister Dancer in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

S. Foley, rider of Mallacoota, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount leaned right the whole way.

244F1 Racing TV H'cap

N.M. Crosse, rider of Stander trained by Paul Stafford, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

Keith Henry Clarke, trainer of Quite Subunctious, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge showed signs of being in season post race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Stander, trained by Paul Stafford, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

244F2 Racing TV H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from Jarlath P.Fahey, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Maunganui, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that this horse found the going too quick at Fairyhouse and preferred today's easier surface. He further reported that his charge may have resented the blinkers at Gowran last time. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

244G Ladbrokes Ulster Cesarewitch Handicap

S. Foley, rider of Conron trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never picked up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Conron, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
