The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

The Stewards requested a report from Edward Lynam, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Tide Of Time (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer's representative Aileen Lynam reported that making the running and dropping back in trip may have contributed to the apparent improvement. Having considered the report the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Emily Grace trained by M.C. Grassick, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Iseebreeze trained by Anthony Mulholland, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left.

The Stewards interviewed B.M. Coen, rider of Canford Art, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g) (frequency) and having taken his record into account suspended him for 1 race day.

160D Magners Ulster Derby

D. Egan, rider of Kashagan (GB) trained by Archie Watson (in GB), reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

John Ryan (in GB), trainer of Hiroshima (GB), reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge was found to be lame on his off hind post race.

The Stewards interviewed D.P. McDonogh, rider of King's Vow (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account cautioned the rider.

The Stewards interviewed S. Foley, rider of Dadoozdart (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account suspended him for 1 race day.

The Stewards interviewed G.F. Carroll, rider of Future Investment (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account suspended him for 1 race day.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kashagan (GB), trained by Archie Watson (in GB), at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be slightly lame on its off fore.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Cj Cregg, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was slow away.

A.C. Persse, rider of Vallambrosa, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was slow away.

B.M. Coen, rider of Stormy Tale trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount reared before the gates opened.

B.M. Coen, rider of Zalzar trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

The Stewards interviewed R.P. Cleary, rider of Cuban Surfer, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account suspended him for 1 race day.

Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, trainer of Zalzar, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge scoped wrong post race.

160G Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auc M'dn

The Stewards interviewed Adrian O'Shea, rider of Secret Secret, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and (i)(time to respond) and having taken his record into account suspended him for 2 race days and ordered that he attend RACE for one day's tuition in the correct use of the whip.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Granularity (GB) trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount tried to jump the road, stumbled, lost its action and eased thereafter.
