The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

A.P. Kelly replaced P.K. Donovan on Suile Ban, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan (Race 3)(injured)
M.P. O'Connor replaced C.M. Quirke on Whiskey Lady, trained by Gillian Scott (Race 3)(injured)

132B Frank And Brian Fitzsimons Mem. Hcap Hdl

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Noel Meade, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Golden Temple, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. The trainers Authorised Representative James Wilkinson reported that the horse didn't handle the heavy ground at Clonmel the last day and the application of blinkers today may have helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.

132C Down Royal Opportunity H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards interviewed A. Harvey, rider of Paddy Elvis, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, A. Harvey accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that A. Harvey was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard(first offence), they suspended him for one raceday.

132D DennPart Beginners S'chase

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately three furlongs from the finish involving Dgalwaygallivantor, ridden by K.M. Donoghue, placed first, Erigmoor (GB), ridden by Sam Ewing, placed fifth, One And Only, ridden by P.T. Enright, placed fourth, and Warm In Gorey, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe, placed third, where it appeared One And Only had to check off heels. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. K.M. Donoghue stated that he kept a straight line down the hill. Sam Ewing stated that his mount got unbalanced coming down the hill. P.T. Enright stated that his mount overreacted and felt no pressure from his outside. D.J. O'Keeffe stated that he kept a straight line down the hill. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

Sam Ewing, rider of Erigmoor (GB), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got unbalanced coming down the hill.

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Warm In Gorey, trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped at the third last fence.

James Andrew Fahey, trainer of Imminent Arrival, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge pulled two shoes.

132F Dennison Commercials Hunters S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Billaway, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Shiroccosmagicgem trained by Edward F. Power was lame on its left fore.

132G Dennison Point-To-Point INH Flat Race

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, Mr S. Connor, rider of Southey, trained by S.R.B. Crawford, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount took a false step and he was unseated. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Mr J.L. Gleeson, rider of Bigcitylights (GB), trained by Emmet Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped very quickly.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Bigcitylights (GB), trained by Emmet Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
