D.J. Hand, rider of De Danu's Bach trained by Nigel Thomas Slevin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

264E Irish Stallion Farms EBF Beginners S'ch

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Broughtons Star (GB), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

264F Molson Coors H'cap S'chase

The Stewards fined Mark Fahey, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Cant Pay Wont Pay, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

M.A. Enright, rider of Wilde 'N Wide trained by A.J. McNamara, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake and was pulled up.

264G Black Horse INH Flat Race

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr.P.L.Malone, that Mr M.J. Molloy, rider of Shankill Castle (GB),placed sixth,failed to weigh in. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards disqualified Shankill Castle in accordance with Rule 230(ii). Furthermore the rider was found to be in breach of Rule 227(i) and having considered his record, cautioned him concerning his future responsibilities in this regard.


Owing to ground conditions, the Stewards granted permission for fence number two to be omitted for all chases.
