The Referrals Committee, Mr. G.A. Holmes (in the Chair), Mrs. J.O. Onions and Mr. P.J.A. O’Connor, met at the Stand House Hotel, The Curragh, Co. Kildare, on Wednesday, 7th June, 2006, to consider a referral from the Acting Stewards at Fairyhouse on 19th April, 2006, concerning the nomination of a rider for “Garsington”, trained by Mr. M. Hourigan, in the Blanchardstown Handicap Steeplechase.   

The Committee heard evidence from D.G. Hogan, Jockey, and A. Kelly, Jockeys Agent.  Having considered the evidence the Committee severely cautioned D.G. Hogan as to his responsibilities.
