The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

James J. Doyle rode Misterio (reserve) trained by Sean Byrne (Race 8)

308B Friends Of The Curragh Pollardstown Hcp

N.M. Crosse, rider of The Jam Man trained by Ronan M.P. McNally, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

R.C. Colgan, rider of Tashi trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount missed the break.

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Buckman Tavern (FR) trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount sustained an injury and pulled up.

308C Staffordstown Stud Stakes

The Stewards reviewed an incident at around the 2 furlong marker involving Perfect Portrait (GB), ridden by D. McMonagle, Speirling Beag, ridden by K.J. Manning, and Starry Heavens, ridden by S. Foley where it appeared interference may have occured. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Clever And Cool trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls.

D. McMonagle, rider of Perfect Portrait (GB) trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran green under pressure.

308D Bord Na Mona Brigid's Pastures Stakes

The Stewards requested a report from W. McCreery, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Are We Dreaming, placed first, as compared with its recent form. W. McCreery stated that they left off the blinkers which it wore on its previous 2 starts and this in his opinion brought about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

308E RFL Steels IRFU Charitable Trust H'cap

W.J. Lee, rider of Loveday trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received slight interference 2 furlongs from the finish.

308F Tesoro Vita Ladies Trophy (Q.R.) H'cap

The Stewards interviewed Miss O.M. Queally, rider of Sacchoandvanzetti, concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted she had used her whip outside of the recommended guidelines. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied Miss. O.M. Queally was in breach of R10.3(a)(hitting her horse in front of the saddle while the whip is in the forehand position) and R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered her record they cautioned her on this occasion.

Ms L. Dowdall, rider of Khezaana trained by Donal Kinsella, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount slowly away from the stalls.

Miss S. Ahern, rider of Darraby (GB) trained by Brendan W.Duke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount was slowly away from the stalls.

308G O'Reilly Consulting Group Apprentice Hcp

The Stewards enquired into an incident at about the 4 furlong marker involving Redstone Well, ridden by D.J Gilligan, Chaos Control, ridden by D. King, and Notforalongtime (GB), ridden by J.J.G. Ryan where it appeared contact was made between Redstone Well and Notforalongtime. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.J. Gilligan stated that he kept a straight line and did not receive any interference. D. King stated that he received a bump from his inside. J.J.G. Ryan stated that he got a bump from both sides. Having viewing the recording and considered the evidence the Stewards took no further action. D.J. Gilligan was accompanied at this enquiry by Mr. Michael Doyle. D. King was accompanied at this enquiry by Mr. Declan Buckley. J.J.G. Ryan was accompanied at this enquiry by Mr. Kevin Brothwick.

The Stewards interviewed C. Geerdharry, rider of Eighty Eight, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip Regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that C. Geerdharry was in breach of R10.3(i)(time to respond) and having considered his record, they cautioned him on this occasion.

308H IRFU Charitable Trust H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Poppy Petal trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost action from halfway.

J.A. Powell, rider of Dragons Call trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount fly leapt from the stalls causing him to get unseated.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Cnodian trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to check off heels at around half way.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Ducky Mallon trained by Donal Kinsella, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount suffered interference in running.

At the request of the Stewards, J.A. Heffernan, rider of Pollanassa, trained by Kevin Thomas Coleman, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was slowly away, got outpaced and stayed on at that pace.
