The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C.T. Keane replaced G.F. Carroll on Mucky Mulconry, trained by G.M.Lyons (Race 1)(intended mount a non runner)

102A Irish EBF Median Sires Series M'dn

G.P. Halpin, rider of Pearling Path (FR) trained by John Stephen O'Donoghue, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was boystrous prior to the race and in the stalls.

102C Coolmore Irish EBF Mooresbridge Stakes

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Licence (GB), trained by G.M.Lyons, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be giving a good blow post race.

102D Coolmore Circus Maximus EBF Athasi Stks

S.B. Kelly, rider of Lustown Baba trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right under pressure.

102G PG Duffy & Sons Citroen Apprentice H'cap

The Stewards interviewed S.P. Bird, rider of Ginsburg, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he had used his whip excessively. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that S.P. Bird was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 1 raceday.

The Stewards interviewed H.J. Horgan, rider of River Derwent (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that some of the strikes were for corrective purposes. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that H.J. Horgan was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 5 racedays.

The Stewards requested a report from Mr. Gerard Keane, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Ginsburg, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Mr. Gerard Keane reported that the return to softer ground and the application of cheek pieces in his opinion brought about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Liquid Luck trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

S.D. Bowen, rider of Sheila trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls and failed to quicken.

102H Keadeen Hotel H'cap

The Stewards informed Mrs Denise Foster, trainer that Abeona, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.
