The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Irish Horse Racing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer, Ms. J. Taylor, regarding the identification of Hes Bullet Proof, trained by Michael Mulvany. Ms. J. Taylor reported that the horse presented for identification was not Hes Bullet Proof but in fact another two year old bay colt called Sunriseontheboyne. Evidence was heard from Michael Mulvany who stated that both horses were bought on the same day, microchipped on arrival at the yard but a mix up then occurred in the identification and he accepted full responsibility for the error and apologised. Having considered the report and the evidence, the Raceday Stewards, pursuant to the provisions of Rule 90(vi), ordered the withdrawal of Hes Bullet Proof and having considered Michael Mulvany's record(clean record) in this regard they fined him €500 on this occasion.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Arizona Blaze (GB), ridden by D. Egan, placed first, and Rowdy Yeats, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed second, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. Egan stated that his mount rolled slightly when he used the stick. C. T. Keane stated that he received very minor interference and it was of little consequence. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that while Arizona Blaze had caused minor interference to Rowdy Yeats, he did not improve his finishing position as a result of this interference so they made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.M. Sheridan, rider of Chazzesmee, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he did not make contact in the course of celebrating after the line. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the video evidence was inconclusive and they gave J. M. Sheridan the benefit of the doubt on this occasion.

The Raceday Stewards informed Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, trainer, through his Authorised Representative, that Eirinn Rua, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Fleur De Chine (GB), ridden by S. Foley, unplaced, and Money Dancer, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed first, where it appeared Fleur De Chine leaned in on Money Dancer. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Fleur De Chine (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Tack (FR), trained by J.G. Murray, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed J. Coen, rider of Barrier (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that J. Coen was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency, and having considered his record (clean record) in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended J. Coen for three racedays.
