The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

A.P.O'Brien, trainer of Lorenzo Lotto (Off feed) - €200
J. S. Bolger, trainer of Celtic Times (Off feed) - €200

195A Juddmonte Farms Expert Eye EBF (C&G) Mdn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Manu Et Corde, trained by J. S. Bolger, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

195E Paddy Power Scurry H'cap

The Stewards interviewed M.C. Hussey, rider of Big Gossey, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that M. C. Hussey was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered M.C. Hussey's good record in this regard the Stewards suspended him for one raceday.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Gulliver (GB) trained by David O'Meara (in GB), reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was short of room from the gates.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Pulse Of Shanghai trained by Kieran P. Cotter, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped left from the stalls.

The Stewards wished to interview D.P. McDonogh, rider of Pulse Of Shanghai, concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. However, as D. P. McDonogh had already departed the racecourse, the Stewards under the provisions of Rule 14(ii)(b) referred the matter to the Referrals Committee of the Irish Horse Racing Regulatory Board for further investigation.

195F Kildare Village Ladies Derby H'cap

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Ms. C. S. Murphy, that Miss M. Fortune, rider of Aubretia, had presented to weigh out at five pounds overweight, two pounds of which had been declared at declaration time. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that she had done her best to lose the weight but had been unable to do so. Having considered the evidence and the unavailability of another suitable rider, the Stewards, under the provisions of rule 198(vii)(b) allowed the overweight on this occasion. However, The Stewards were satisfied that Miss M. Fortune was in breach of Rule 195(i)(c) and Rule 198(vii) and having considered her record in this regard the Stewards fined her €150 on this occasion.

The Stewards interviewed Miss G. Benson, rider of Elite Trooper Grey, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that she was in breach of the regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Miss G. Benson was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered Miss. G. Benson's record in this regard the Stewards suspended her for one raceday.

195H Aquaturf H'cap

The Stewards reviewed an incident in the home straight involving Hector De Maris, ridden by R.L. Moore, placed fifth, Effernock Fizz, ridden by N.G. McCullagh, placed sixth and Dewcup, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed fourth, where it appeared that Hector De Maris briefly ran short of room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was necessary.
