The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the latter stages of this race involving Mr Everest, ridden by D. O'Brien, placed second and High Haven, ridden by D.E. Mullins, placed first, where it appeared Mr. Everest received interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that High Haven had improved her placing by causing interference to Mr. Everest and therefore reversed the placings with the result now to read; first Mr. Everest, second High Haven. The Stewards took no further action.

K.J. Manning, rider of Constancio, trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung badly left off the last bend.
