The Turf Club has announced that, following a  course inspection at Cork this afternoon, the steeplechase course was found to be unfit for racing ahead of the scheduled fixture there on Saturday, 6th January. The steeplechase course will be inspected again at 8am on Friday, 5th January to further assess the situation in relation to the two steeplechases due to be run on Saturday’s programme. The hurdle and bumper course at Cork was passed fit for racing and the ground is currently soft to heavy.
