The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D. F. O'Regan replaced M.J. Bolger on Kalanisi Dubh, trained by Seamus Fahey (Race 4)(Unwell).
I. J. McCarthy replaced M.J. Bolger on Colfer Me, trained by Sean Byrne (Race 3)(Unwell)
R. A. Doyle replaced M.J. Bolger on Beat Of The Sea, trained by Seamus Fahey (Race 5)(Unwell)

181A Fermoy M'dn H'dle

Following a request from broadcasters, the Stewards granted permission for the following delays: Race 1 + 1 minute

B. Hayes, rider of Carrarea trained by Emmet Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left.

P. Townend, rider of Dalvey (GB) trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped poorly.

P.K. Donovan, rider of Sheer Bravado trained by Patrick G.Kelly, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left after the second last.

181B CorkRacecourse.ie M'dn H'dle

P.J. Carberry, rider of One Hot Poet trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up lame.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined One Hot Poet, trained by Matthew J. Smith, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame right fore post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Risk Factor trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien was found to have blood at both nostrils post race, possibly as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

181C Mallow H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ya Ya Baby, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race and also showing signs of being in season.

P. Townend, rider of Ya Ya Baby trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and was pulled up.

The Stewards interviewed H. McOwan, rider of Multifactorial, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that H. McOwan was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered H. McOwan's record in this regard the Stewards cautioned him on this occasion.

181G Charleville INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr J. Hart, rider of Oneforpaddy, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. J. Hart was in breach of Regulation 10.3.b, the unnecessary hitting of a horse after its chance of winning or being placed is clearly gone. Having considered Mr. J. Hart's record in this regard the Stewards suspended Mr. J. Hart for three racedays.
