108A Cork M'dn

N.M. Crosse, rider of Racing Royalty (GB), trained by Gillian Scott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped right coming out of the stalls.

J.A. Powell, rider of Grigal, trained by Richard Brabazon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received a bump leaving the stalls.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Capital Guarantee, trained by Kieran P. Cotter, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly right throughout.

M.A. Enright, rider of Two Stars, trained by J.A.Stack, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left throughout.

108B Goffs Irish EBF Polonia Stakes

A.J. Slattery, rider of Lady Tilbury (GB), trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount fly leapt from the stalls.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at around the furlong marker involving Basil Martini, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, and Fix You (GB), ridden by J.A. Heffernan where it appeared Fix You shifted right taking the ground of Basil Martini. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.P. McDonogh stated that he had to maneuvre slightly right after getting pressure from the left. J.A. Heffernan stated that his filly shifted slightly right but was corrected immediately. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and they took no further action.

108C Irish EBF Auction Series M'dn

The Raceday Stewards received a report from Nicola O'Connor, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer that Seti trained by Noel Meade was found to be a gelding and not a colt as shown on the passport presented. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards fined Noel Meade €130 in accordance with provisions of Rule 148(vi).

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Zona Verde, trained by K.J. Condon, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

J. Kearney, rider of Designer Cailin, trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around to the left in the final furlong.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into the circumstances surrounding the loading of Purring Along, ridden by N.M. Crosse, into the stalls where it appeared the filly was loaded into the incorrect stall before being unloaded and brought forward again and led into the correct stall. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Starter. Mr. Derek Cullen, and from the lead stall handler Mr. Manny Behan. N.M. Crosse stated that he knew he was drawn in stall 18 but as his mount was becoming anxious he lost concentration on what stall he was being led into. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that N.M. Crosse was in breach of Rule 208(iv). Having taken his clean previous record into consideration, the Raceday Stewards suspended N.M. Crosse for one raceday.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from S.M.Duffy, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Purring Along, placed first, as compared with its recent form. S.M. Duffy stated that the application of first time visors along with a change of tactics by riding the filly positively in his opinion may have brought about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

108F Racing Again Tomorrow Apprentice H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving the stalls involving Mere Accountant, ridden by J.A. Powell, Gunsight, ridden by J. Gonet, and Persian Queen, ridden by C. Stone-Walsh where it appeared Gunsight ran short of room making contact with the rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.A. Powell stated his horse was keen and racing on heels but felt he kept his line and didn't cause interference. C. Stone-Walsh stated that he kept straight before taking a look to make sure he was clear of the horses on his inner. J. Gonet stated that her mount was racing very keen and was running short of room as a result. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and they took no further action.

R. Whearty, rider of Who Not What (GB), trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered in the straight.

108G Irish Stallion Farms EBF (C&G) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Blenheim Lad, ridden by B.M. Coen, placed sixth, Night Moon (GER), ridden by R.P. Whelan, unplaced, and Sorrento Point (GB), ridden by M.P. Sheehy, unplaced, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. B.M. Coen stated that his mount ducked right as he was trying to straighten him. R.P. Whelan stated that he had to check back after his ground was taken. M.P. Sheehy stated that he received pressure from his left causing him to roll in. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

J. Kearney, rider of My Boy Teddy, trained by Ms Claire O'Connell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount acted up badly in the stalls.

B.M. Coen, rider of Blenheim Lad, trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ducked right in the straight.
