The Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Cute Cherry (GB), ridden by J.W. Kennedy, and trained by Mrs Denise Foster. Evidence was heard from the horses rider and the trainers representative. J.W. Kennedy stated that his instructions were to jump off mid division, hold onto her and make the best of his way home. He added that Cute Cherry jumped deliberately, didn't travel as well as he would have liked, and ended up further back than he wanted but that she stayed on past beaten horses in the straight. In his opinion Cute Cherry would benefit from a step up to two and a half miles and a slower run race to help her jumping. Mr Brian Flood, Authorised representative for Mrs Denise Foster, had nothing further to add. The Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer who stated that Cute Cherry was blowing hard post race and showing signs of a delayed recovery. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanations given.

O'Keeffe, where it appeared Trixie Mc got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. Fitzgerald stated that his mount hung right towards the rail and he made every effort to keep her straight. D.J. O'Keeffe stated that he was aware of Raven Rule leaning towards the right and he left a shout to make S. Fitzgerald aware he was on his inner. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards deemed the incident accidental and took no further action.

M.P. O'Connor, rider of Antimatter trained by Andrew Lee, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

C.P. McNamara, rider of Feathered Gold trained by Shane Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action but pulled up sound.

The Stewards requested a report from James Daniel Dullea, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Sweet Sixteen (GER), placed first, as compared with its most recent run at Ballinrobe on the 20/07/21. James Daniel Dullea reported that his charge failed to perform on the tighter track over a slightly shorter distance and the more galloping track and extended distance today help bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanations given.
