The Stewards interviewed S.A. Shortall, rider of Uhtred, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found S. A. Shortall in breach of Regulation 10.3.(g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they cautioned him on this occasion.
The Stewards received a report from Ms. Avena O'Keeffe, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that D.A. Jacob, rider of Texard (FR), weighed in at 1.9 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that this was the case. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that D. A. Jacob was in breach of Rule 231 and having considered his record, they suspended him for two racedays.
At the request of the Stewards, I.J. McCarthy, rider of Dreamy Leamy, trained by Mark Michael McNiff, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was very keen during the early stages of this race and he was very anxious to get it to settle and jump well as it had jumped the new type of hurdle very poorly on its previous run.
327B I.N.H. Stallion Owners EBF M'dn H'dleP.J. O'Hanlon, rider of Our J trained by R. K. Watson, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up lame.
At the request of the Stewards, P.T. Enright, rider of Carrigmoorna Pine, trained by Robert Tyner, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was very out paced down the back and then ran on one paced and that his mount needs further.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Our J trained by R. K. Watson was found to have blood at both nostrils as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage.
The Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Carrigmoorna Pine, ridden by P.T. Enright, and trained by Robert Tyner. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. P.T. Enright, stated that his instructions were to sit mid devision, get his mount to settle and to do the best he could bearing in mind that the animal had disappointed on his previous run when finishing well down the field. He said his mount pulled hard early on but jumped well throughout and was outpaced from down the back. He said his mount was unable to quicken in the home straight despite his best efforts and further added that his mount may appreciate a longer trip in time. Robert Tyner, confirmed the instructions given and expressed his satisfaction with the ride. He outlined the animals previous form stated that his charge was a big slow animal that was very one paced and in his opinion, had finished very tired today. The Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary, Officer who stated that Carrigmoorna Pine was found to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanations offered.
327C Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap H'dleThe Stewards interviewed F.J. Hayes, rider of Shadows Return, concerning his use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found F. J. Hayes in breach of Regulation 10.3.(i)(time to respond) and having considered his record, they cautioned him on this occasion.
The Stewards interviewed J.B. Kane, rider of Lily Trotter (GB), trained by E. McNamara, after he appeared to strike his mount prior to the start of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that his mount was a very difficult ride and was very uncooperative. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Stewards accepted that his mount appeared to be a difficult ride and took no further action other than to advise J.B. Kane of his future responsibilities in this regard.

Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found M. Hamill in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record they cautioned him on this occasion.
The Stewards interviewed M.J. Bolger, rider of Randalls Ur Poet, concerning his use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found M. J. Bolger in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g)(frequency) and having considered his record, the stewards suspended him for one raceday.

Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered, the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that D.J. McInerney was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 1 raceday.
The Stewards interviewed C.J. Orr, rider of Just Get Cracking, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that C.J. Orr was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having taken his previous record in this regard into account, they suspended him for 7 racedays (5th offence).

The Stewards interviewed Mr J. Hurley, rider of Wrong Direction, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. J. Hurley was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they cautioned him on this occasion.
Mr T. O'Connor, rider of Dubai Daisy trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly throughout.
