Compliance Administrator

The Compliance Administrator is a key role within the Compliance Department, responsible for the administration of compliance and regulatory matters and reporting to the Head of Licensing, Legal and Compliance.
JOB PURPOSE
The Compliance Administrator is a support role for the Head of Licensing, Legal and Compliance assisting in the administration of compliance and regulatory processes and providing general administrative support to the Legal and Compliance team.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administration of Referrals and Appeals
- Acting as secretariat for the disciplinary matters including logistical arrangements, communication with disciplinary panels and other parties, and preparation of files and related documentation packs
- Issuing correspondence and other documents relating to compliance matters
- Administration of files for compliance matters and maintenance of related databases
- Production of correspondence, memos, presentations, reports and meeting packs
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Experience with compliance, disciplinary processes and/or legal processes
- Demonstrated ability to work on their own initiative as well as being an effective team player,
- Excellent communication skills
- Conscientious and reliable individual with excellent time keeping
- The highest standards of integrity and discretion to deal with confidential regulatory information
- The capacity to work flexibly adjusting own priorities in order to provide optimum and effective support within the team
- Meticulous attention to detail to process and understand the importance of accurate record keeping
- Ability to work to deadlines in a dynamic, fast paced work environment with excellent organisational skills
- Ability to take ownership of processes and projects in line with Head of Department
- Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office packages is essential for this role
