The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

A.W. Short replaced K.J. Brouder on One For Joe, trained by C.Byrnes (Race 4)(Unwell)
B.J. Foley replaced K.J. Brouder on Mattie's Mountain, trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy (Race 2)(Unwell)

006A Kilsheelan (Mares) M'dn H'dle

T. Ryan, rider of Krickett trained by W.J.Austin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a few jumping mistakes during this race.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference from the second last hurdle to the winning post involving Getaway Gorgeous, ridden by P. Townend, placed second and Uisce Solas, ridden by L. Quinlan, placed first, where it appeared that Getaway Gorgeous ran short of room after the final hurdle and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the winner did not improve his placing by causing interference and made no alteration to the Judges placings. They did, however, find that L. Quinlan was in breach of Rule 214 by riding carelessly and suspended him for 2 racedays having taken his previous record into consideration.

Under the provisions of Rule 90, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Golden Ode, trained by John J. Walsh, as the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. Furthermore they informed the trainer that Golden Ode would be ineligible to run until the error is corrected to the satisfaction of the IHRB Veterinary Officer and any period of suspension imposed has expired.

006B Lisronagh H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Vitudurum, trained by Joseph G. Murphy, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race.

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Vitudurum trained by Joseph G. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly left before being pulled up in this race.

006D Monroe M'dn H'dle

C.A. Landers, rider of No Grey Area's trained by Martin Hassett, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stumbled on the downhill run before the straight and passed tired horses in the latter stages of this race.

006E Tipperary H'cap H'dle

S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Chasing Charlie (GB) trained by Mrs Caroline McCaldin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not handle the downhill run during this race.

Under the provisions of Rule 90, the Stewards allowed Charlotte Wells, trained by P.J. Rothwell, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the error identified in the certification of vaccinations would be corrected in accordance with Rule 91 within the timeframe specified. The trainer subsequently withdrew this animal because of the change in the going.
