The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

J.A. Nash, trainer of My Manekineko (GB) (Off-Feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Mr. H. D. Dunne replaced Mr I. P. Donoghue on Yeats Mardy(GB), trained by Gavin Cromwell (Race 5)(Injured).

374A Rosegreen M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Oak Park, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be unsound behind when examined post race.

374B Derrygrath M'dn H'dle

The Stewards requested a report from Philip Fenton, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Groody Rover, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Philip Fenton stated that his charge ran flat the last day, was ridden more prominently today and that todays race was a lesser contest and he felt that these factors contributed to the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation given.

374D Cloneen (Mares) M'dn H'dle

The Stewards requested a report from Ms. Michelle Duggan, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Fresh Appeal, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Padraig Cronin, authorised representative for Ms. Michele Duggan stated that the drop in trip today, coupled with the fact that her charge is a big raw horse that had come on a lot for its last run had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation given.

374E Kilmolash (QR) H'cap H'dle

Mr J.W. Hannon, rider of Not So Simple trained by Norman Lee, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung very badly coming down the hill.

Mr E. P. O'Brien, rider of Dreal Deal, trained by Ronan M.P. McNally, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount did not handle todays going and never travelled.

374F Kilsheelan Novice H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Touch Of Oscar, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be showing signs of heat stress when examined post race.

The Stewards requested a report from Eoin Christopher McCarthy, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Pound A Stroke, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Eoin Christopher McCarthy stated that the application of first time blinkers coupled with the return to a country track had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation given.

374G Microdog ID H'cap S'chase

Owing to the trajectory of the sun, the Stewards granted permission for the two fences in the home straight to be omitted from race 7.

The Stewards interviewed Mr T. Power Roche, rider of Lacken Bridge, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found Mr. T. Power Roche in breach of Regulation 10. 3 (g) (frequency). Having considered Mr. T. Power Roche's record in this regard the stewards cautioned him on this occasion.

Owing to ground conditions, the third last fence was omitted from all chase races today.
