The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D.J. O'Keeffe replaced C.P. McNamara on Millstream Lady, trained by E. McNamara (Race 3)(Stood down)
D.J. O'Keeffe replaced C.P. McNamara on Holiday In Kerry, trained by E. McNamara (Race 6)(Stood down)
D.E. Mullins replaced C.P. McNamara on Storm Mahler, trained by E. McNamara (Race 7)(Stood down)

043B Clonmel H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Full Noise, trained by Ronan M.P. McNally, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have a haematoma on his right hind cannon otherwise was post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, Sam Ewing, rider of Full Noise, trained by Ronan M.P. McNally, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped badly and got tired.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Trickey Trix, placed first, as compared with its recent steeplechase form. James Griffin, Authorised representative for Dermot Anthony McLoughlin reported that the yard had lost form in recent months but lately their runners had begun to show form again. Having considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

043C Fethard M'dn H'dle

The Raceday Stewards fined Gavin Cromwell, trainer, €65 for failing to fit a tongue tie to Soldaro, prior to entering the parade ring.

043D Cloneen (Mares) H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards interviewed G.P. Brouder, rider of Rovetta (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, G.P. Brouder admitted that he had exceeded the whip guidelines for frequency. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that G.P. Brouder was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration and pursuant to the provisions of R10(6)(a), the Raceday Stewards suspended G.P. Brouder for six racedays.

043E Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn H'dle

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, D.L. Queally, rider of Starman (FR), trained by Declan Queally, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran free in the early part of this race, jumped novicey over the first few hurdles, travelled well until the turn into the straight but found nothing in the closing stages.

043F1 Rosegreen H'cap H'dle

P.T. Enright, rider of Champagne Rebel, trained by Sean Aherne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed L. Quinlan, rider of Whip Whitaker, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, L. Quinlan admitted that he was in breach of the whip guidelines for not allowing his mount time to respond to the whip. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that L. Quinlan was in breach of R10(3)(i) by not allowing his mount at least three strides to respond. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Raceday Stewards cautioned L. Quinlan on this occasion.

043F2 Rosegreen H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Course, Mr. L. Wyer, that Ocodango Boy trained by Peter McCreery could not be reshod prior to the start of this race and ran without a near hind shoe.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident at the second last hurdle involving Imminent Arrival, ridden by A.P. Kelly, unplaced, Killinure Lass, ridden by Mr E. Mahon, unplaced, I Must, ridden by Thomas Reilly, unplaced, and Red Finch, ridden by Niall Moore, unplaced, where it appeared that I Must got tight for room when caught between Imminent Arrival and Red Finch with Killinure Lass immediately behind this incident. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

R.J. Condon, rider of Infinity Tower, trained by N Dooly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left throughout this race before being pulled up.

Niall Moore, rider of Red Finch, trained by Timothy Doyle, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount went about running out at the last two hurdles.
