The Referrals Committee, Dr. Gordon A. Holmes (in the Chair), Mrs. J.O. Onions and Mr. Charles Cunningham met in the Stand House Hotel, The Curragh, Co. Kildare to consider an objection from Mr. Denis Egan, Keeper of the Matchbook to the placings gained by Chestnut Charlie in Ireland in all races subsequent to 27th August 2006 on the basis that Chestnut Charlie was not qualified to run in any race after this date as the Committee had previously found that Chestnut Charlie had taken part in an unrecognised racemeeting in Boyle on 27th August 2006.

Having considered the objections, the Committee disqualified Chestnut Charlie from the races listed below and ordered the records to be updated accordingly.

The placings now read:
2007

•    February 28th – Downpatrick – Downpatrick I.N.H. Flat Race
1st – Drumboy
2nd – Caramia (FR)
3rd – Thetimesright
4th – Bleumosee
Chestnut Charlie disqualified from 1st Place

•    March 18th – Limerick – Bank of Ireland (Pro Am) I.N.H. Flat Race
1st – Cailin Vic Mo Cri
2nd – Jadanli
3rd – The Gallop Master
4th – Seeking Justice
Chestnut Charlie disqualified from 1st Place
