The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

John C. McConnell, trainer of Eco Pete (injured loading (late withdrawal)) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

M.M. McDonagh rode Wouldn't You Agree (reserve) trained by Eoin Griffin (Race 3)
J.J. Slevin rode Tom McGreevy (reserve) trained by Liz Doyle (Race 3)

183A Bar One Racing Quick Deposit Nov. H'dle

A.P. Kelly, rider of Rene Artois, trained by J.A. Nash, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped poorly.

183B Bar One Racing Price Boosts M'dn H'dle

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Finans Bay, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount refused to race.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Ms. Zoe Smalley, authorised representative for Mr. Henry de Bromhead, trainer of Finans Bay, concerning the conduct of this horse who was withdrawn at the start by the Starter for refusing to line up. Evidence was heard from Ms. Smalley, who stated that Finans Bay was having his first run for Mr. Henry de Bromhead but had previously refused to race for his previous trainer. She also stated that he was behaving very well at home and schooling over hurdles which they had hoped would help bring about a change in attitude. The Raceday Stewards advised Ms. Zoe Smalley, that Finans Bay was in breach of rule 14(iii) and having taking his previous record into account they suspended Finans Bay for Forty five Racedays .

183C Bar One Racing 'Bellewstown' H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident before the second last hurdle involving Set Point, ridden by J.W. Kennedy, placed second, Wajaaha, ridden by L.A. McKenna, placed fifth, and Wouldn't You Agree, ridden by M.M McDonagh, placed first, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, L.A. McKenna stated that he was upsides Sea Point on the approach to the second last hurdle when Wouldn't You Agree came up to join him from off the track and blinded his mount, he also stated that his mount received contact from Wouldn't You Agree and that he let a shout at M.M McDonagh. J.W. Kennedy stated that he was upsides Wajaaha when the incident started and that he felt that M.M. McDonagh came up the inside of both horses which caused interference to their mounts. M.M. McDonagh stated that there is no inside rail and he felt he had plenty of horse and enough time to get passed Wajaaha before the wing of the second last hurdle. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found M.M. McDonagh, was in breach of Rule 214 in that they had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended M.M McDonagh for four Racedays.

183D Bar One Racing Multiples (M) Mdn Hdle

K.M. Donoghue, rider of Tellthemi'mhere, trained by Ian Patrick Donoghue, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst.

183E1 Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap H'dle

A.P. Kelly, rider of Ask Charlie, trained by Michael Hourigan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up lame.

J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Dont Doubt Me, trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up and burst.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dont Doubt Me, trained by P.J. Rothwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at both nostrils post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Jenny Flex, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame behind post race.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed D. Moloney, rider of Champagne Vacation, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he was in breach of Regulation 10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found D. Moloney in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having taken his previous record in this regard into account the Raceday Stewards suspended D. Moloney for two Racedays.

183G Bar One Racing INH Flat Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cape Best, trained by Ms Margaret Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
