The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

172A Western Motors Skoda (Mares) M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Miss Chevious Girl, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.

At the request of the Stewards, P. Townend, rider of Miss Chevious Girl, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount showed little interest in running early on and missed some hurdles. He said his mount briefly travelled turning for home, but came off the bridle quickly in the closing stages and was eased. He concluded by saying that he should have pulled up rather than jumping the last.

172B Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed R.A. Doyle, rider of Gone Galavanting, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that R.A. Doyle was in breach of Regulation 10.3.(f)(force) and Regulation 10.3 (g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 1 raceday.

The Stewards interviewed C.D. Timmons, rider of Bard Of Armagh (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that C.D. Timmons was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and 10.3(i) (time to respond) and having considered his record, they cautioned him on this occasion.

David Peter Dunne, trainer of Pretty Little Liar, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge lost a front shoe and was in his opinion lame afterwards.

172C Hibernia Steel M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Batcio (FR), trained by T.M. Walsh, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Mr A. McMahon, rider of Batcio (FR) trained by T.M. Walsh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and was pulled up.

M. Hamill, rider of Keble trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

M.J. Bolger, rider of Five Gems trained by David Peter Dunne, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a noise in running.

172D Fast Shipping Bellewstown H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kildorrery, trained by T.M. Walsh, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal.

D.N. Russell, rider of Star Maker (GB) trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped very quickly and was pulled up.

172E Byrne Marquees Hilltown H'dle

The Stewards interviewed D.G. Hogan, rider of Macgiloney, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that D.G. Hogan was in breach of Regulation 10.3(i)(time to respond) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 2 racedays.

172F Fast Terminals H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed J.B. Kane, rider of Mac N Cheese, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that J.B. Kane was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f)(frequency) and Regulation 10.3(i)(time to respond) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 1 raceday.

J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Fiveaftermidnight trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.
