The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

David Peter Dunne, trainer of Department Of War (Change in Going) - €200
Peter Fahey, trainer of Sit Down Lucy (Ground) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D.J. Hand replaced Mr S.W. Condon on Eat The Book, trained by David Peter Dunne (Race 2)(Injured)
M.P. Walsh rode Fair Minded (reserve) , trained by Desmond McDonogh (Race 6)
R.A. Doyle rode Justice Ears (reserve) , trained by David Peter Dunne (Race 6)
G. Brouder replaced T. Joseph Kelly on Boston Brahmin, trained by Norman Lee (Race 7)(Injured).

244B RED MILLS Irish EBF Auction M'dn H'dle

The Stewards reviewed an incident in the home straight with a circuit to go involving Baghdad Central, ridden by L. Quinlan, Here To Stay, ridden by K.C. Sexton, and He's In It, ridden by C.D. Maxwell, where it appeared horses bunched up on the inner. Having reviewed the recording and considered the matter the Stewards decided that no further action was warranted.

244E Bective Stud Mullacurry Cup Hcap Hdle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Smitty Bacall, trained by J.R. Barry, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have a graze above his right knee but was otherwise post race normal.

244F1 John Purfield Memorial H'cap H'dle

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Western Doyen trained by V. T. O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a mistake in the straight and his mount finished lame.

R.Donohoe, trainer of Hitchcock (GB), reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge scoped wrong post race

244F2 John Purfield Memorial H'cap H'dle

Owing to ground conditions in the area, the Stewards granted permission for the third last hurdle (Hurdle 3) to be omitted from this race.

244G Avison Young (Ladies) (Pro-Am) Flat Race

Miss S. Ahern, rider of Kilbarry Chianti, trained by C. O'Keeffe, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount hung right throughout.

The Stewards enquired into the unseating of Aslukwoodhavit (GB), ridden by Miss J. Townend, on the turn into the straight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that as she turned into the straight she had her head down and didn't see the rail until very late at which point her mount jinked. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards advised Miss J. Townend to ride with more awareness in future.
