The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C. Stone-Walsh replaced L.A. McKenna on Storms End, trained by C.A.Murphy (Race 4)(Injured).
R. J. Condon replaced L.A. McKenna on Reversal, trained by C.A.Murphy (Race 6)(Injured).
K. E. Buckley replaced J.W. Kennedy on Hunting Brook, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 6)(Stood down)

403A Veterinary Clinic Ratoath M'dn H'dle

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Imadpour, ridden by D. P. Maxwell, placed sixth, and Someone's Wish, ridden by N. R. Andrews, placed fifth, where it appeared Imadpour had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. P. Maxwell stated that he got tight for room and had to take a check. N. R. Andrews stated that his mount was going left and right but he was not aware of the horse on his inner. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that N. R. Andrews was in breach of Rule 214, in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended N. R. Andrews for one raceday.

S.W. Flanagan, rider of African Lady, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped very poorly throughout.

D.P. Maxwell, rider of Imadpour, trained by Andrew McNamara, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran very free.

403B BoyleSports H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined So They Tell Me, trained by Padraig Roche, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis.

403C Good Enuf To Eat Catering (M) H'cap Hdle

J. Coen, rider of Grace Faraday, trained by Anthony McCann, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped right early on.

403E David McKeown A1 Generators H'cap H'dle

S. Fitzgerald, rider of Morrie In D Quarry, trained by Declan Queally, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung violently left throughout. The Raceday Stewards, pursuant to the provisions of Rule 272, interviewed S. Fitzgerald concerning the accuracy of his report. Having viewed a recording of the race S. Fitzgerald apologised for the inaccuracy of his report and with the consent of the Raceday Stewards he amended his report to state that his mount hung left throughout. Furthermore, The Raceday Stewards took no further action other than to remind S. Fitzgerald of his obligation to give accurate reports in the future.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Eoin Christopher McCarthy, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Ma Hoey, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Eoin Christopher McCarthy stated that running in this grade coupled with more favourable ground conditions had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Morrie In D Quarry, trained by Declan Queally, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis.

403F Pat And Eddie Smith Memorial H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident after the last involving Milk Market, ridden by M.P. Walsh, placed second, and Killinure Lass, ridden by C.P. McNamara, placed first, where it appeared there was contact between the two. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ballybrack Wood, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

403G Awardsandgifts.ie (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Addragoole, ridden by Mr D.G. Lavery, placed second, Jersey Des Brosses (FR), ridden by Mr H.C. Swan, who unseated, and Withabitofluk (GB), ridden by Mr J.L. Gleeson, placed first, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr. D. G. Lavery stated that he did not cause any interference. Mr. H. C. Swan stated that his mount is a very big horse who was not suited by the track but things got a bit tight. Mr. J. L. Gleeson stated that there was no contact and he was clear of Mr. Swan's horse. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and took no further action. In arriving at their decision the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr. H. C. Swan's mount had became unbalanced and struck the rail after the other horses had passed him.

The following Raceday Stewards acted on behalf of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board at this race meeting:

Following a request from broadcasters, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for a one minute delay to race two, a two minute delay to races three to five and a one minute delay to race six.

Owing to ground conditions, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdle number three to be omitted from all hurdle races. .
