The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D. King replaced C.M Hogan on Kasper Hauser (GB), trained by Kevin Thomas Coleman (Race 7)(stood down)
Conor Clarke replaced C.M Hogan on Three County Star, trained by Brian Mortell (Race 8)(stood down).

255B Visitwexford.ie H'cap H'dle

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of The Toothpicker, trained by David Kenneth Budds, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up injured.

255C1 Treo Eile H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the riders first approach to the Starter. Having viewed the recording of the start and consulted with the IHRB Starter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

A. Harvey, rider of Mahler's Best, trained by Patrick T. Foley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident jumping the second last involving Monntie, ridden by D.J Gilligan, Tomas O Maille, ridden by P.T. Enright, and Bruise Hill, ridden by Kevin Healy, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.J. Gilligan stated that his mount was going backwards and he received a bump jumping the hurdle. Kevin Healy stated that his mount landed awkwardly but he held his racing line. P.T. Enright stated that his mount landed left but he corrected him immediately. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

255C2 Treo Eile H'cap H'dle

J.C. Gainford, rider of Torque De Lune, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost action on the run from the third last fence.

R.J. Condon, rider of The Ducks Walk, trained by N Dooly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed E. Walsh, rider of Chosen Princess, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he didn't feel like he used his whip above shoulder height. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that E. Walsh was in breach of R.10.3(h)(arm above shoulder height) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed D.J. O'Connor, rider of Balinaboola Steel, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that D.J. O'Connor was in breach of R.10.3(h)(arm above shoulder height) and having considered his record in this regard (second offence), they suspended him for four racedays.

255D Traynors Of Wexford (M) M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Clody Diamond, trained by Paul Nolan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

P.K. Donovan, rider of Thornbury Queen, trained by M.O.Quigley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped and he pulled up.

255E Brendan Cullimore Elec. Rated Novice Sch

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Le Coq Hardi, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Le Coq Hardi, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped very quickly.

Kevin Healy, rider of Ma Jacks Hill, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was reluctant to jump off.

255F Dan & Breda Byrne Memorial H'cap S'chase

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Thomas Gibney, trainer of Sammy Smart (GB), for an additional 10 minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with Rule 90(i).

The Raceday Stewards reviewed where P.K. Donovan, rider of Stily, had to sit for a stride after the third last fence. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

255G Racing Again October 25 & 26 H'cap S'ch

The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.P. Shinnick, rider of Thewaybackhome, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied J.P. Shinnick was in breach of R.10.3(i)(time to respond) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays.
