The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-
J.R.Finn, trainer of Doyen Wolf (transport difficulties) - €200.Terence O'Brien, trainer of Fromjago'stomilan (nasal discharge) - €200 - late withdrawal.
The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Mr J.G. Murphy, rider of Just For One, trained by Daniel G. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran green.
362B New Years Discount Tickets (M) M'dn H'dlE. Staples, rider of Ersudaly (GB), trained by Colin Bowe, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was flat out throughout.
362C Book A Table For New Years (M) Hcap HdleK.M. Donoghue, rider of Missus Beeton, trained by J.P.Dempsey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
C.M Hogan, rider of Lucky Viv, trained by Michael Barry, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed D.G. Hogan, rider of Cousin Kate, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted and apologised for his whip use. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied the rider was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his clean record, they suspended him for three racedays.
C.P. Millar, rider of Long Gone, trained by Noel C. Kelly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
362D Karl Casey Outstanding Contr. H'cap HdleThe Raceday Stewards fined D.J. Gilligan €200 for failing to present to weigh out citing transport difficulties.
Michael Kenneally, rider of Rainbow Connection, trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
362E 2026 Group Package Deals Beginners S'chThe Raceday Stewards granted a requested from A.J. Martin, trainer of Atlantic Wonder, for an extra 10 minutes to present his charge for identification to an IHRB official in accordance with Rule 90(i).
362F Ladies Cove H'cap S'chaseThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Bondi Boy Blue, trained by Ms Margaret Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at both nostrils post race.
D.E. Mullins, rider of Bondi Boy Blue, trained by Ms Margaret Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was impeeded over the first start. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video footage and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
A.P. Kelly, rider of Fox Le Bel (FR), trained by Liz Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was turned sideways at the start of the race.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into the start of this race whereby Fox Le Bel, ridden by A.P. Kelly, was turned sideways when the start was affected. Evidence was heard from Mr. P. Moloney, IHRB Starter, and A.P. Kelly. Mr. P. Moloney said the riders were coming at him too fast and he repeatedly told them to bring their horses back to a walk. Once they did he raised the flag and started the race. A.P. Kelly said as he brought his mount back to a walk he turned sideways. He added he shouted to let the starter know but the race was started. Having considered all the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.
362G Irish EBF (M)(Ladies P-Am) INH Flat RaceThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the run away from the stands the last time involving How's Ellie, ridden by Miss J. Townend, Lilannbee (GB), ridden by Anna McGuinness, and Susie Lenglen, ridden by Miss M. O'Sullivan, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
GENERAL INFORMATIONThe following Raceday Stewards acted on behalf of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board at this race meeting: Mr. Denis Hickey (Chairman), Mr. Patrick Coveney, Mrs. Faith Ponsonby, Mr. P.D. Deegan.
Owing to the low lying sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdles one and two to be omitted from races one, two, three and four.
