The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

G.P. Brouder, rider of Rodeo Joe, trained by David K. Walsh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slightly lame.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rodeo Joe, trained by David K. Walsh, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

C.P. Millar, rider of Mercurial Sea, trained by Nigel Thomas Slevin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped very novicey and pulled a front shoe in running.

Michael Kenneally, rider of Amburana, trained by Padraig Butler, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount went wrong at the first fence past the stand second time round and pulled up.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed E. Staples, rider of Bob The Builder, following a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board, Starter, Mr Paddy Graffin, in that E. Staples actions prior to the start resulted in him calling a false start. Evidence was heard from the starter and rider concerned. IHRB Starter Mr Paddy Graffin stated that he was happy with the manner in which the horses were coming forward but was forced to call a false start due to the objection from E. Staples. E. Staples stated that he had been front rank and wanted to be handy, but got shuffled back and repeatedly shouted 'no' as he was not where he wanted to be. Having viewed the recording of the start and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that E. Staples was in breach of Rule 272.(i).(conduct) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident close to the line involving World As One (GER), ridden by B. Hayes and Simple Things, ridden by P.T. Smithers, where it appeared the two came close together. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P.T. Smithers stated World As One drifted towards him and there was slight contact. B. Hayes stated that the two horses met and made contact briefly. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

R.A. Doyle, rider of Fortis Et Liber (GB), trained by Colin Bowe, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount seemed to lose his placing at the top of the hill.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed R.A. Doyle, rider, in relation to where it appeared his mount Fortis Et Liber went to the wrong side of a doll and was subsequently pulled up. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he was coming back to his racing line after by passing the third last hurdle. He further added that as the horses in front of him were angling back to the original racing line, that his horse overreacted, ducked right and at that point he felt his mount had gone to far off the racing line and was subsequently pulled up. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Josh Williamson, rider of Sea Of Doubt, trained by Ian Patrick Donoghue, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the first hurdle.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the riders first approach to the start. Having reviewed the video footage and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Tingarran Express came forward quite quickly, despite the riders best efforts and that no further action was warranted.

Kevin Healy, rider of I'm Gold, trained by Olivia Hegarty, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was uneasy at the start.

A. Harvey, rider of Road To The Sea, trained by Thomas Coyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost its action and pulled up.

Michael Kenneally, rider of Treacys Ella, trained by Declan Queally, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost its action going to the second last.

Owing to the low lying sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdle four to be omitted from this race.

Mr J.L. Gleeson, rider of Mountain Sky (GB), trained by G.E. O'Leary, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran very flat.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident as they turn down the hill into the home straight involving Call My Name, ridden by Mr A.P. Ryan and Mountain Sky (GB), ridden by Mr J.L. Gleeson where it appeared Call My Name clipped a heel and stumbled. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr A.P. Ryan stated that when the horse in front was coming backwards he attempted to pull his mount out and go around which resulted in clipping a heel. Mr J.L. Gleeson stated that his mount came under pressure, was going backwards and he attempted to maintain his line as best he could. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

Mr A.P. Ryan, rider of Call My Name, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount clipped a heel.
