039A Racing Again 5th March H'cap S'chase
The Raceday Stewards granted a request from James Andrew Fahey, trainer of Dancing Jeremy for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cappucino, trained by Liz Doyle, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have been struck into on its right hind leg but was otherwise post race normal.
D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of The Electrical Kid, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the third last.
T. Power Roche, rider of Rockbrook, trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a bad mistake at the top of the hill and didn't travel thereafter.

039C BOYLE Sports (QR) H'cap S'chaseThe Raceday Stewards granted a request from R.J. Tumilty, trainer of Rodney Bay for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).
039D BOYLE Sports Michael Purcell Mem Nov HdlThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident after the second last hurdle involving Bon Viveur, ridden by P. Townend, and Open Secret (GB), ridden by J.C. Gainford, where it appeared these horses bumped. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from W.P. Mullins, trainer, following the winning performance of Bon Viveur in this race, which appeared to represent an improvement on its previous run(s). The trainer's representative stated that the step up in trip may have accounted for the improved form. Having liaised with the IHRB Handicapper, the Raceday Stewards considered the report and noted the explanation offered.
039E Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn H'dleMiss J. Townend, rider of How's The Head, trained by Timothy Townend, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount gurgled.
039F Connolly's RED MILLS Ladies H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards interviewed Ms H. Phillips, rider of Crohan Lady, concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that her mount came off the bridle at the top of the hill and kept finding in the straight. She apologised for her actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and Reg.10.3.(i)(time to respond) and having taken her clean record into account suspended her for six days for a breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and two days for breach of Reg.10.3.(i)(time to respond).
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Ms J.I. Stokes, rider of Orlando Spirit (FR), concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that one of the apparent strikes was a wave of the whip. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards took no further action.
039G Irish Stallion Farms EBF(M)INH Flat RaceThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mary O'G (FR), trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
