The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

S. O'Callaghan, rider of Jolly D'olivate (FR), trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was outpaced early on and ran past tired horses at the finish.
P. Cleary, rider of Nelliestar, trained by Thomas Patrick McGettigan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.
242B Aidan Moffitt Memorial H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards requested a report from P.J. Rothwell, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Calm Flight Ahead, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Mr. David Nolan, the Authorised Representative for trainer, P.J. Rothwell, stated that first time blinkers may have brought about the apparent improvement in form for his charge today. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the content.
242C Solar Generation M'dn H'dleD.J Gilligan, rider of Godsend (GB), trained by Cian Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up injured.
E. Finegan, rider of Mindyourheadmike, trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.
S.D. Torrens, rider of Hadahi, trained by Noel C. Kelly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped left early on.
242D McDermott Farm Machinery H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards interviewed I.Madden, trainer of Max Time, regarding the circumstances surrounding the fact that Max Time, did not enter the parade ring prior to the race, instead being mounted on the chute and proceeding directly to the start. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who stated that they were late to have the horse saddled. Having considered all the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that I.Madden was in breach of Rule 32(ii) by not ensuring his mount was paraded in the parade ring a reasonable time before the signal to mount was given and having considered his clean record, they fined him €100 on this occasion.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Paul Mulligan, trainer of Beacon Bypass, regarding the late arrival of the horse into the Parade Ring. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who stated that they were late to have the horse saddled as a result of his charge becoming fractious when applying the tongue strap. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied Paul Mulligan was in breach of Rule 32 (ii) by not ensuring his mount was paraded in the parade ring a reasonable time before the signal to mount was given and having considered his clean record, they cautioned him on this occasion.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Glaoinn An Airgead trained by James M. Barcoe, was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

For this race meeting, the Raceday Stewards suspended the ‘Starting Procedures for Tape Starts’, and the IHRB suspended Rule 208 (i) and Rule 209 (i).
Prior to race six the IHRB Clerk of the Course changed the official gong to good, good to yielding.
