191A Irish EBF Auction Series M'dnThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Annie Batt, trained by Andrew Slattery, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.
B.M. Coen, rider of Arrowstock, trained by Daniel McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped right, out of the starting stalls.
C.D. Hayes, rider of Shesthedevil, trained by Patrick Magee, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around from around the half way mark.
191B Ardboyne Hotel M'dnSiobhan Rutledge, rider of Wooloongabba, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount missed the break.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed the start of the race where it appeared Little Wing, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, went right after leaving the stalls, making contact with both Final Boss, ridden by R.C. Colgan and Lady Moon, ridden by G.F. Carroll. Having considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
191C Newgrange Hotel H'capL.F. Roche, rider of Verified, trained by Gerard Keane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was outpaced early on and ran short of room when staying on in the closing stages.
191D Navan Adventure Centre H'capThe Raceday Stewards interviewed Orla Tynan, rider of Another Nice'day, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted she was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for miscounting. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Orla Tynan was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered her clean record in this regard, they suspended her for two racedays. Senior Rider Andrew Slattery accompanied Orla Tynan for this enquiry.
R.P. Whelan, rider of The Right One, trained by Jarlath P.Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was restless in the stalls and anticipated the start twice.
191F Navan H'capL.F. Roche, rider of Genoah, trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a bump turning in on the bend and became unbalanced. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
191G Navan Racing Festival 14 & 15 Nov. H'capThe Raceday Stewards fined Paul W. Flynn, trainer €65 for failing to fit the declared cheek pieces to Jazz Forever prior to entering the parade ring.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cleopatra's Needle, trained by H.Rogers, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have a slight right nasal discharge post race.
