The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

W. M. Lordan replaced J. Cleary on Closely, trained by A.P.O'Brien (Race 6)(Stewards permission)

114B Danny Trundle Heating & Plumbing H'cap

P. McGettigan, rider of Arctic Steps, trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around in the straight.

J.S. Dalton, rider of Whatswrongnow, trained by Batt Burke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left under pressure.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Harry Longabaugh, trained by P.C.O'Donnell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was slowly away.

114E Declan Landy Fencing H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Real Encounter, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hit a ridge.

114F Darley Irish EBF Naas Oaks Trial

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ice Dancer, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Caught U Sleeping, ridden by C.T. Keane, and Mixed Feelings, ridden by D. Browne McMonagle where it appeared Mixed Feelings momentarily ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C. T. Keane stated that his mount was green in front and rolled around. D. Browne McMonagle stated that the filly in front drifted off the rail but he did not have the horse to fill the gap. He added that his mount became unbalanced but through no fault of the horse in front. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

C.D. Hayes, rider of La Fogata, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got unbalanced at the first bend.

114H Gresham House (Fillies) M'dn

K.G. Kennedy, rider of Moonlit Sun, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around in the straight.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The following Raceday Stewards acted on behalf of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board at this race meeting: Mr N. B. Wachman (Chairman), Mr Thomas Breen, Mr Roderick Ryan, Mr Charles J. O'Reilly, Mr L. Walsh.

After the running of Race five, the Clerk of the Course amended the official going to good, good to firm in places.
