The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

031A SR Ventilation Supp. Kill GAA Rated Hdle

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Highland Crystal, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kilmeaden, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.W. Kennedy, rider of Highland Crystal, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he had exceeded the guidelines by one strike but said his mount was hanging right and he had to use the whip for corrective purposes in an effort to keep her straight. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards accepted the riders first strike was for safety reasons and took no further action.

031C Cavan Developments Kill GAA M'dn H'dle

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, P.K. Donovan, rider of Ina Mina (GB), trained by Terence O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount is a slight mare who struggled on the ground. He added he held onto her as long as he could to try and get her home and when he let her down she weakened on the ground.

031D Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Boher Road, trained by Jarlath P.Fahey, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ernie From Nurney, trained by Padraig Roche, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the run to the last involving Moudan, ridden by E. Finegan, and Hesgonethatway, ridden by Brian Barry, where it appeared Hesgonethatway drifted left carrying Moudan off his line. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. E. Finegan said he didn't receive much interference but accepted he was taken off his line. Brian Barry said he thought he was clear when his horse drifted. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action other than to remind Brian Barry to be more aware of the horses around him in future.

031F QuinnBet Hunters S'chase

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from P.M.J. Doyle, trainer of Hunters Yarn, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official as per the provisions of Rule 90(i).
