M.P. O'Connor, rider of Cocofred, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got badly hampered at the second last.

048B Jumps Finale At Naas Rated Novice H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dollar Nolimit (FR), trained by E.Buckley, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal other than having a small skin wound on his left fore fetlock.

048C William Hill Challenge (M) H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Are You Busy, trained by Rodger Sweeney, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at both nostrils post race.

Under the provisions of Rule 212(B) the Raceday Stewards enquired into the apparent improvement in form of Rathbawn Soldier, trained by Patrick T. Foley, placed first compared with its recent form. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who stated that he was happy with her first three runs. He added she was quite keen on her first run and on her third run she ran very keen on the way to the start before racing behind the bridle. Finally he said she should benefit from a step up in trip going forward. Having considered the matter the Raceday Stewards noted the explanations of the trainer. Mr. Raymond J. McSharry recused himself from this enquiry.

048D Flat Is Back At Naas Claiming H'dle

Anna McGuinness, rider of Fenway Park, trained by Andrew McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't travel in the early stages of this race.

048E Lily & Wild Restaurant (Mares) Hcp H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Milanaway, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

048F William Hill Challenge Series Hcap H'dle

B.P. Kennedy, rider of Keiths Boy, trained by Seamus Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left.

048G William Hill Challenge Series Hcap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards interviewed B. Hayes, rider of Brown Boots, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted and apologised for his whip use. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied the rider was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his clean record, they suspended him for two racedays.
