The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D Egan replaced D.W. O'Connor on Valiant Force (USA), trained by Robson De Aguiar (Race 8)(intended mount a non runner)

127B ALTO Equine Building Solutions H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Vega's Muse (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never picked up in the straight.

Kate Harrington, Authorised Representative for Mrs John Harrington, trainer of Vega's Muse (GB), reported to the Clerk of Scales that her charge was lame post race. Subsequently an IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Vega's Muse and reported the animal to be post race normal. .

127C Owenstown Stud Stakes

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Native Warrior (GB), trained by K.R.Burke (in GB), at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.P. Spencer, rider of Native Warrior (GB), concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that his mounts head carriage was high and he was backing off on the ground. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that J.P Spencer was in breach of R10.3(h)(arm above shoulder) and having considered his clean record, they suspended him for two racedays.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Henry de Bromhead, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Wannabe Royal, placed first, as compared with its recent run at Cork on the 4th of April. Henry de Bromhead stated that he may have ran his charge back too quickly on his previous run. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its content.

127D Royal Ascot Trials At Naas Rated Race

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident close to the finish line involving Victory Tip, ridden by W.J. Lee, and Bobby McGee (GB), ridden by C.T. Keane where it appeared Victory Tip was checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Rider, W. J. Lee stated he was aware of Bobby McGee drifting in so he took a check back. C.T. Keane stated that his mount shifted in left and at that point he tried to correct his mount straight away. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

W.J. Lee, rider of Victory Tip, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to take a check inside the last furlong.

C.T. Keane, rider of Bobby McGee (GB), trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lugged left under pressure.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Shaftesbury Avenue (USA), trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

127E Twydil/Clovelly Irish EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Henry de Bromhead, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Totally Puzzled, placed first, as compared with its recent run when finishing last of 10 runners at the Curragh on the 3rd of April . Henry de Bromhead stated that a return to a sounder surface a drop in trip may have brought about the improvement. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its content.

127G Goffs Lacken Stakes

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Charles Darwin, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

R.L. Moore, rider of Charles Darwin, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost its action momentarily.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Havana Anna (GB), trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled leaving the stalls.

127H Sole Power Sprint Stakes

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Lady Iman, trained by G.M.Lyons, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

J. Kearney, rider of Kerdos, trained by Stephen Thorne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled leaving the stalls.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Likedbymike, trained by M. J. Byrne, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stumbled leaving the stalls.

W.J. Lee, rider of Keke (GB), trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount recieved a bump from Kerdos leaving the stalls.
