The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from C.A.Murphy, trainer of Jetaway Mountain, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

M.P. Walsh, rider of Ladbroke Grove (FR), trained by Martin Brassil, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right.

P.T. Enright, rider of Minnatrix, trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was pulled up injured.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Erin Bayford, rider of Earl Neigh, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted she was in breach and apologised for her actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Erin Bayford was in breach of Regulation 10.3.b (out of contention) and having considered her record in this regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended her for two racedays.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Miss O.M. Queally, rider of Costanuci, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted she was in breach and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Miss O. M. Queally was in breach of Regulation 10.3.i (time to respond) and having considered her record in this regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended Miss O.M. Queally for two racedays.

Terence O'Brien, trainer of Tippawan Haa, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge was pulled up injured.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Cerberus (GB) trained by Aidan Melia was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the bottom bend involving Helvic Dream, ridden by D. Meyler, and Speed For Fun (FR), ridden by C.G. O'Dwyer where it appeared Speed For Fun ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. Meyler stated that his mount got a little bit unbalanced on the old ground. C. G. O'Dwyer stated that his race was run and he suffered only very minor interference. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Run For Mahler, trained by C.Byrnes, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

P. Byrnes, rider of Run For Mahler, trained by C.Byrnes, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost its action and was pulled up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Venusienne (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards fined Donncha Duggan, trainer, €65 for failing fit the declared tongue strap to Madam Elle prior to entering the parade ring.

The Raceday Stewards enquired from Miss J. Townend, rider of Moonshine Girl who fell on the flat on the turn for home. Miss J. Townend stated that her mount came down independently of any other horse. Having considered the matter and viewed a recording of the race the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Owing to the low trajectory of the sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for fences one and two to be omitted from this race

S. O'Callaghan, rider of Toon Town, trained by David O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the third last.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages of this race involving Certavi Et Vici, ridden by Mr F.R. Buckley, placed third, and Shuil Solas, ridden by Mr D. O'Connor, placed second, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr F. R. Buckley stated that he received contact from the horse on his outside and it may have cost him second. Mr D. O'Connor stated that he maintained his line and the horse on his inside was pushing out. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales that Mr B.T. Stone, rider of World Of Fortunes, had weighed in at 1.1lb overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he was doing light and had a drink of water after he had weighed out. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr B. T. Stone was in breach of Rule 231 and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards cautioned Mr B. T. Stone on this occasion.

For this meeting, The Raceday Stewards suspended the "starting procedures for tape starts" and the IHRB suspended Rule 208 (i) and Rule 209 (i)
