The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-
Noel Meade, trainer of Jesse Evans (other reasons and late withdrawal) - €400.The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:
D.J. Gilligan rode Smallcraftwarning (reserve) trained by John Patrick Ryan (Race 6)D.J. Gilligan replaced Josh Williamson on King Of Kingsfield, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 3)(intended mount a non runner).
400D Eddie Noonan Groundworks M'dn H'dle
G.B. Noonan, rider of Freddie's Back, trained by E. McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel. This was subsequently confirmed by the IHRB Veterinary Officer.
D.E. Mullins, rider of Jack Owen Jack, trained by C.Byrnes, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount lost its action and pulled up.
400F1 Munster Suite @ Limerick Races Hcp H'dleThe Raceday Stewards granted a request from John Patrick Ryan, trainer of Smallcraftwarning, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Friends Of Barry (FR) trained by John E. & Thomas Kiely was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed D.A Kidd, rider of Whatafoolbelieves, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip Regulation and stated that he felt his mount had more to give. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that D.A. Kidd was in breach of R.10.3(b)(out of contention) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays.
P.T. Enright, rider of Friends Of Barry (FR), trained by John E. & Thomas Kiely, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.
400F2 Munster Suite @ Limerick Races Hcp H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mickey Hulie, trained by David Harry Kelly, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on its left fore having pulled a left fore shoe.

Following the running of race two, the Raceday Stewards granted a request from the IHRB Clerk of the Course to doll off the outside of the racing line following the running of race three due to ground conditions.
For this race meeting, the Raceday Stewards suspended the ‘Starting Procedures for Tape Starts’, and the IHRB suspended Rule 208 (i) and Rule 209 (i).
