The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

G.B. Noonan, rider of Loughrask Jet, trained by Brian M. McMahon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Not Negotiable (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to to be clinically abnormal post race.
L. Quinlan, rider of Toor Idaho, trained by Ms.M.Flynn, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung off the track.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Miss A.L. Fitzgibbon, rider of Shuil Swift, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that she didn't think there was as many horses in front of her and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Miss A.L. Fitzgibbon was in breach of R.10.3(b)(out of contention) and having considered her clean record in this regard, they suspended her for two racedays.
Ms.M.Flynn, trainer of Toor Idaho, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her charge put her tongue over the bit on the first circuit and ran off the track.
386B Tim & Martin Molony Veterans H'cap S'chOwing to low lying sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for fence three to be omitted from this race.
G. Brouder, rider of Eddies Pride, trained by Norman Lee, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount sustained an overreach coming down the straight.

386E BOYLE Sports Ladies H'cap H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rowdy, trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
386F Roche's Feeds H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in between the second last and last hurdle involving King Kali, ridden by K.C. Sexton, placed first, Fighting Falcon ridden by P.T. Enright, placed fifth, and Big Dee, ridden by G.B. Noonan, placed third, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P.T. Enright stated that he received a bump but that his horse has only one eye and he overexaggerated. K.C. Sexton stated that his mount wandered slightly but felt Fighting Falcon overexaggerated. G.B. Noonan stated that Fighting Falcon came in to his mount and he lugged left. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards advised K.C. Sexton to be more aware of horses on his inside in future. Furthermore, they were satisfied that G.B. Noonan was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident after the last hurdle involving Is Charlie Around, ridden by C.P. Millar, and Fighting Falcon, ridden by P.T. Enright, where it appeared contact was made between the two. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
J.C. Gainford, rider of Metamorpheus, trained by Andrew McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not handle the ground.
The Raceday Stewards received a report from the IHRB Veterinary Officer, Dr. Graham Adams, where it appeared that Peaceinthevalley ridden by M.P. O'Connor had whip marks on its hind quarters post race. The Raceday Stewards interviewed M.P. O'Connor concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned and the IHRB Veterinary Officer. Dr. Graham Adams showed photographic evidence of his findings which were accepted by M.P. O'Connor. M.P. O'Connor stated that he lost his whip in Leopardstown yesterday and that he was using a new whip. He further added that he gave his whip a wipe so it may have been damp. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found M.P. O'Connor was in breach of R.10.3(f)(force) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays.
