The Raceday Stewards enquired into the circumstances whereby Mode Avion (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, and ridden by Josh Williamson, had to be resaddled due to the failure to include the weight cloth at the time of saddling. Evidence was heard from Sinead O'Brien, representative for Gordon Elliott, who stated that she mistakenly failed to put the weight cloth on when saddling. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Gordon Elliott in breach of R.205(i) and in considering his clean record in this regard they fined him €500. Furthermore the Raceday Stewards fined Gordon Elliott €130 for failing to appoint an Authorised Representative in accordance with the provisions of R.147(v).
053B BOYLE Sports Shannon Spray (M) Nov H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Changeyourstars, trained by James Kieran King, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be showing signs of being in season post race.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident turning into the home straight involving Changeyourstars, ridden by P.T. Enright, Ill Raise A Glass, ridden by S.W. Flanagan, and Soldierstown, ridden by D. King, where it appeared they came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
053C William Hill Challenge Series Hcap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards granted a request from John Patrick Ryan, trainer of The Little Yank and La Tene for an additional ten minutes to present his charges for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).
The Raceday Stewards received a report from Hugh Hynes, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Brian Barry, rider of La Tene, presented to weigh out at two pounds overweight which had not been declared. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that it was an error of judgement on his part regarding his weight and apologised. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Brian Barry was in breach of Rule 198(vii)(a) and in considering his clean record in this regard they fined him €150. The Raceday Stewards also granted a request from John Patrick Ryan, trainer, to substitute H.E Sexton for Brian Barry.
053D BOYLE Sports Early Payout M'dn H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Honey Come Quick, trained by P.J. Rothwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
053E AOS Security Novice H'cap S'chaseP.M. O'Brien, rider of Peaceinthevalley (FR), trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly after a bad mistake.

053F Play perysbingo.com Veterans H'cap S'chThe Raceday Stewards interviewed Kevin Healy, rider of Rocky's Howya, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Kevin Healy accepted he was in breach of R.10.3(h)(arm above shoulder height) but not R.10.3(g)(frequency) as he felt he had hit the rail and not his mount on at least one occasion. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found Kevin Healy was in breach of R.10.3(g)and R.10.3(h)and in considering his record in regards to R.10.3(g)(second offence) they suspended him for four racedays and in regards to R.10.3(h) (second offence) they suspended him for four racedays.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Gatsby Grey (FR) trained by Oliver McKiernan was seen to have blood at both nostrils post race.
Kevin Healy, rider of Rocky's Howya, trained by Declan Queally, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.
P.T. Enright, rider of Gatsby Grey (FR), trained by Oliver McKiernan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.
053H I.S.F. EBF (Pr-Am) Auction INH Flat RaceThe Raceday Stewards fined Henry de Bromhead, trainer €65 for failing to fit the declared hood to Border Lad prior to entering the parade ring.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident inside the final furlong involving Bois D'angos (FR), ridden by Mr F.R. Buckley, placed first, and Border Lad, ridden by D.G. Whelan, placed second, where it appeared they made contact. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr. F.R. Buckley stated that he felt contact from his right in the final furlong. D.G. Whelan stated that his mount hung left in the home straight and he felt he corrected him sufficiently. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found D.G. Whelan, was in breach of Rule 214 in that they had ridden Carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the home straight involving Bois D'angos (FR), ridden by Mr F.R. Buckley, and Jury Time, ridden by Mr D.G. Lavery, where it appeared they briefly made contact. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
D.G. Whelan, rider of Border Lad, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left in the home straight.
Conor Clarke, rider of Deeter, trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
P.J. Cody, rider of Natures Odyssey, trained by P.F.McEnery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
