The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Tyson Fury (GB), trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
J.M. Sheridan, rider of Tyson Fury (GB), trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly right from two furlongs out..
Reese Holohan, rider of Zammawar, trained by Jarlath P.Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.
158B Conference & Banqueting Facilities H'capThe Raceday Stewards interviewed M. Popan, rider of Femme Beauty, trained by K.J. Condon, concerning his riding in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he got tired and had to stand for a couple of strides but got going again. He added that he was under pressure to do the weight. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the explanations given. M. Popan was accompanied by Michael McLoughlin at this enquiry.
S. Coen, rider of Servare (USA), trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.
S. Foley, rider of Cascade Canyon, trained by Kevin Thomas Coleman, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jammed on on the approach to the road crossing.
158C Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dnMr. C.J. Sweeney, Stipendiary Steward, recused himself from all deliberations in this race.
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, L.T. McAteer, rider of Henry Hudson (GB), trained by David Marnane, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was a bit one paced and ran on past tired horses.
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, S.T. McCullagh, rider of Roman Sands, trained by C.P.Donoghue, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was outpaced in the early stages and stayed on well in the home straight.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Footstepstoglory, ridden by G.M. Ryan, and trained by David Harry Kelly. Evidence was heard from the rider and the trainers Authorised Representative, Kieran Fanning. G.M. Ryan stated that his instructions were to jump out handy and ride a smooth race from there. He added that his mount was slowly away and he kept everything comfortable and smooth after that. He stated that he got into a lovely rhythm in the back straight and felt fine on the ground. He further added that as he turned into the straight, his mount became awkward and started lugging right. He concluded by stating that his mount suffered interference early in the home straight before running on well in the final furlong. Kieran Fanning confirmed the instructions given and expressed his satisfaction with the ride. He added that he is a quirky horse who was only having his second run on the flat. The Raceday Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer who reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the explanations from the rider and Authorised Representative. Mr. J. Moloney recused himself from this enquiry.
158D Jim Ryan Racecourse Services Mem. H'capThe Raceday Stewards fined P.F.O'Donnell, trainer, €65, for fitting a visor instead of blinkers to Dragon Of Malta which had not been declared and ordered its removal.
W.M. Lordan, rider of Flame Of Forest, trained by Natalia Lupini, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran out of a little bit of room up the straight.
J. Pietropaolo, rider of Dragon Of Malta, trained by P.F.O'Donnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had to take a check around the furlong pole.
Reese Holohan, rider of Monvoe, trained by R.P.Cody, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around in the straight and hung right.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident inside the final furlong involving Dragon Of Malta, ridden by J. Pietropaolo, Earls, ridden by G.F. Carroll, and Monvoe, ridden by Reese Holohan, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. G.F. Carroll stated that he received a bump from his outside. J. Pietropaolo stated that he received pressure from his outside. Reese Holohan stated that his mount ran around and hung right but he corrected him as quick as he could. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Reese Holohan was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard (second offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended him for four racedays. J. Pietropaolo was accompanied by D. Browne McMonagle at this enquiry. Having been informed of the nature of the enquiry and his right to be accompanied, Reese Holohan elected to proceed without accompaniment.

Pietropaolo where it appeared Noli Timere ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.T. Keane stated that room appeared but he anticipated Dragon Of Malta moving in. J. Pietropaolo stated that his mount was intimidated from his outside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found J. Pietropaolo was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard (second offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended him for four racedays. J. Pietropaolo was accompanied by D. Browne McMonagle at this enquiry.
Natalia Lupini, trainer of Flame Of Forest, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her charge was lame post race. The IHRB Veterinary Officer confirmed the animal to be lame on its left hind post race.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the home straight involving Noli Timere, ridden by C.T. Keane, and Highbury See See, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, where it appeared J.A. Heffernan had to check as a result of Noli Timere receiving interference. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
158E Twilight Summer Racing @ Limerick H'capThe Raceday Stewards fined P.J.F. Murphy, trainer, €65, for failing to fit the declared cheekpieces to Perfect Judgement, prior to entering the parade ring.
R.P. Whelan, rider of Perfect Judgement, trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly into stride.
J.S. Dalton, rider of Friars Gate, trained by Augustine Leahy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around in the straight.
L.T. McAteer, rider of Jasmine Affanalis, trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no run turning in.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident early in the home straight involving Bucaneer's Spirit, ridden by G.F. Carroll, Java Wood, ridden by C.T. Keane, and Jasmine Affanalis, ridden by L.T. McAteer, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.T. Keane stated that his mount ran out of room. L.T. McAteer stated that his mount ran into a dead end as the horse in front of him stopped. He added that he received slight contact from Bucaneer's Spirit. G.F. Carroll stated that the horses in front stopped suddenly but added that he felt he was clear of L.T. McAteer at the time. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found G.F. Carroll was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard (second offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended him for four racedays.
158F1 Cosgrave Transport H'capMr. C.J. Sweeney, Stipendiary Steward, recused himself from all deliberations in this race.
158F2 Cosgrave Transport H'capThe Raceday Stewards interviewed C. Cusack, rider of Methgal, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who felt the second strike did not make contact with his horse. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that C. Cusack was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (second offence), they suspended him for four racedays. Having been informed of the nature of the enquiry and his right to be accompanied, C. Cusack elected to proceed without accompaniment.
The Raceday Stewards held the result and enquired into the start of this race after Green Icon was left in the stalls with his blindfold still on. Evidence was heard from M.T. Sheridan, rider of Green Icon and IHRB Starter, Mr. P. Moloney. Mr. P. Moloney stated that he followed the normal procedure. M.T. Sheridan state that he tried to pull the blindfold off but it didn't come off fully which caused him to miss the break. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings and took no further action.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed S. Coen, rider of Zabriskie Point (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip Regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that S. Coen was in breach of R.10.3(h)(arm above shoulder height) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays. Having been informed of the nature of the enquiry and his right to be accompanied, S. Coen elected to proceed without accompaniment.
L.F. Roche, rider of Run Forrest Run, trained by Laura Hourigan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got unbalanced coming down the hill before turning in.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident inside the final furlong involving Methgal, ridden by C. Cusack, and Pick A Window, ridden by J.J.G. Ryan where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.J.G. Ryan stated that he didn't have the horse to fill the gap. C. Cusack stated that his mount went left but he corrected him immediately. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted. Having been informed of the nature of the enquiry and his right to be accompanied, C. Cusack elected to proceed without accompaniment.
158G Racing Again On June 19th H'capThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Nod Of Approval, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
Adam Caffrey, rider of Miss Australie, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount clipped a heel coming into the straight the first time. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
