The Raceday Stewards advised Eoin Griffin, trainer of Euro Agent, that a repeat performance from his charge who ran out may render the animal liable to a suspension in the future.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Jet To Monte Carlo, trained by Emmet Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

R.A. Doyle, rider of Euro Agent, trained by Eoin Griffin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran out on the approach to the last hurdle.

Owing to the low trajectory of the sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdle number two to be omitted from this race.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident after jumping the third last hurdle involving Whimsy (GB), ridden by E. Finegan, who fell, Lumiere Du Large (FR), ridden by D.E. Mullins, unplaced, Sarandon, ridden by R.A. Berry, placed sixth, and Small Bucks, ridden by Mr T.C. Kileff, unplaced, where it appeared Sarandon ran short of room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. E. Finegan stated that he maintained his line and the horses on his outside came in on him. D. E. Mullins stated that he received minor pressure from his inside R. A. Berry stated that he received pressure from the inside forcing him out. Mr T. C. Kileff stated that he suffered no interference. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action other than to advise E. Finegan to ride with more awareness in the future.

Sam Ewing, rider of Kamikaz Du Plessis (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left from the turn into the straight.

047F John Thomas McNamara (QR) H'cap S'chase

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the home bend involving Jay Pee M, ridden by Mr D. Allen, placed sixth, Hardwired, ridden by Mr L.P. Shanahan, unplaced, and Secrecies Of Stone, ridden by Mr J.W. Hendrick, unplaced, where it appeared Hardwired ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr D. Allen stated that he was not aware of any interference. Mr L. P. Shanahan stated that his mount retreated when things got a little tight but the bypass was a contributing factor. Mr J. W. Hendrick stated that he edged in slightly to get by the wing of the second last but thought he was clear. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action other than to remind Mr L. P. Shanahan of his responsibility to give accurate evidence when in an enquiry.

Miss J. Townend, rider of Ruby Grace, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount ran keen early on and then hung right.

047H Leopardstown Racecourse Beg. S'chase

Owing to the low trajectory of the sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for fence number two to be omitted from this race.

D.E. Mullins, rider of Strutter (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran very fresh.

H.E. Sexton, rider of Goody Four Shoes, trained by Thomas Gibney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was outpaced early and stayed on.
