389A Irish Stallion Farms EBF Academy H'dle

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Try Them, trained by Emmet Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran keen early on and was a bit green.

T. Power Roche, rider of Eitilt, trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount raced green throughout.

389B Donohue Marquees M'dn H'dle

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages of this race involving Frankie John, ridden by D.G. Hogan, placed first, and Jalon D'oudairies (FR), ridden by J.W. Kennedy, placed second, where it appeared interfence may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. G. Hogan stated that there was contact but both horses shifted towards each other. J. W. Kennedy stated that there was minor contact but it did not cost him anything. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the judge's placings and took no further action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Forty Coats, trained by Henry De Bromheadf, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Sam Ewing, rider of Irish Champ, trained by S.R.B. Crawford, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung and jumped right.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed D.G. Hogan, rider of Frankie John, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he had used his whip well above what was allowed by the regulation but added that he has just recently renewed his licence having not ridden for two years and he apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that D. G. Hogan was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g (excessive frequency) and Regulation 10.3.i (time to respond) and having considered his record in this regard (second offence for excessive frequency)(first offence for time to respond) the Raceday Stewards suspended D. G. Hogan for eight racedays for excessive frequency and a further two racedays for time to respond.

389C SIS Irish EBF Novice H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Gordon Elliott, trainer, in relation to Coyote Spirit who runs today on ground officially described as Good to Yielding having been withdrawn yesterday on ground officially described as Good to Yielding. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who stated that Coyote Spirit was at the track yesterday and he had every intention of running him but felt that the ground was too quick. He added that in hind sight he probably withdrew his charge a bit early as his riders felt the going was perfectly safe and suitable for his charge. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

389E Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that St Denis's Well trained by Ian Patrick Donoghue was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Michael Kenneally, rider of Well Del, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Michael Kenneally was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g (excessive frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (second offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended Michael Kenneally for four racedays.

389G Neville Hotels Premier H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident turning into the home straight involving Bunting (FR), ridden by S.F. O'Keeffe, and Sa Fureur, ridden by J.W. Kennedy, where it appeared Sa Fureur momentarily ran short of room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Blue Mosque, trained by Noel Meade, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Air Of Entitlement, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

389H Jump Into Hospitality INH Flat Race

Mr D. O'Connor, rider of Bud Fox, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount weakened from the turn in.

Mr F.R. Buckley, rider of Mossy Way, trained by E.Buckley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung a small bit right.
