The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

W.M. Lordan, rider of King Of Sparta, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right throughout.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Will You Stop, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran off the first bend.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dublin's Knight, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Playin Cool, trained by John James Feane, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Nermal, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left throughout and used his his whip once down the shoulder in the forehand position for corrective purposes. Having viewed a recording of the race, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Java Wood, trained by Kevin Michael Smith, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left up the straight.

L F Roche, rider of Nibras Rainbow, trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount anticipated the start and hit the gates as they opened.

Reese Holohan, rider of Sir Jeremy, trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Game Point, trained by R.P.Cody, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left and got no run in the straight.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident early in the home straight involving Sky Captain, ridden by D. Browne McMonagle, and Game Point, ridden by N.M. Crosse where it appeared Game Point had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. N M Crosse stated that his mount was hanging badly left and wasn't getting much of a run when Sky Captain raced by him. He further added that he suffered interference from the horse in front of him and on his outside. D Brown McMonagle stated that he was full of running and when he had committed to a gap in front of him it closed which resulted in him switching to the left. He further added that he was clear of Game Point before straightening up. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rosato, trained by Charles Weld, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Altimara, trained by Ross O'Sullivan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Reese Holohan, rider of Bella Colombia, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had no luck in running.

J.S. Dalton, rider of Zaraahmando, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left under pressure.
