The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:
J. Cleary replaced R.P. Whelan on River Ara, trained by A.P.O'Brien (Race 5)(Raceday Stewards permission).083A Look De Vega At Ballylinch (F) M'dn
D.P. McDonogh, rider of Rodeo Blues, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls.
083B Ballylinch Stud Red Rocks StksThe Raceday Stewards enquired from R.P. Whelan, rider of Warsaw, who was unseated on the bend turning into the straight. R.P. Whelan said his horse sustained an injury independently of any other runner causing him to get unseated. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
J. Cleary, rider of Dorset, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran a little keen early on and got tired in the straight.
083C Ballylinch Stud Priory Belle StksThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Black Caviar Gold, trained by P. Twomey, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have lost her left hind shoe but was otherwise post race normal.
083D P.W. McGrath Memorial Ballysax StakesThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pierre Bonnard, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
G.M. Ryan, rider of South Island, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around in the straight.
083E Tony Harmon Services H'capThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Cherry Hill Girl, ridden by A.J. Slattery, and So Must I, ridden by J.M. Sheridan where it appeared Cherry Hill Girl appeared to manoeuvre left interfering with So Must I. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. A.J. Slattery said he saw a bit of space but ended up not having the horse to get into it. J.M. Sheridan said he held his line all the way up the straight. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found A.J. Slattery was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his clean record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.
083F Leopardstown Members H'capThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident at the end of the back straight involving Sonoran, ridden by J. Kearney, Molto Amichi, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, Spent All Me Money, ridden by W. Joyce, and Gotta Catch'em All, ridden by Adam Caffrey, where it appeared all horses ran keen resulting in Spent All Me Money and Gotta Catch'em All bumping each other. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
083G Sunday 10th May Family Day H'capThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident inside the two furlong pole involving Land Of The Giants, ridden by R.P. Whelan, Rampage, ridden by J.J.G. Ryan, Sedro Woolley, ridden by W.J. Lee, Believeth, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, and Moonlight Molly, ridden by Reese Holohan where it appeared Rampage and Moonlight Molly receive interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R.P. Whelan said his mount leaned left but he kept as straight as he could. J.J.G. Ryan said he got tight and received a bump adding it came from both sides. W.J. Lee said he was carried right by Land of The Giants. J.A. Heffernan said he kept straight. Reese Holohan said he kept his line on the rail and received a bit of pressure. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action other than to remind all jockeys to be accurate in giving their evidence. Having been informed of the nature of the enquiry Reese Holohan elected to proceed without accompaniment.
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Clifftop (GB), trained by H.Rogers, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount didn't have a clear passage in the straight. .

Following the running of race four the I.H.R.B. Clerk of the Course changed the going to yielding.
