Prior to the meeting the Raceday Stewards approved a request from the Clerk of the Course for a delay to the off time of the first race due to necessary rail realignment.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Blue Anthem (GB), ridden by W.J. Lee, and Goldrush Kid, ridden by J. Kearney, where it appeared there was contact between the two. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W. J. Lee stated that the horse on his outside moved in but he never ran short of room. J. Kearney stated that he stayed straight throughout but that his mount rolled around a bit and it got a little tight when they met the rail again. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately two and a half furlongs from home involving Aurora Nova, ridden by C. Stone-Walsh, Distillate (GB), ridden by S. Coen, and Land Of The Giants, ridden by Adam Caffrey, where it appeared Distillate ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C. Stone-Walsh stated that he received pressure from his left. S. Coen stated that the horse in front was stopping and he had to check off heels. Adam Caffrey stated that he maintained his line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found S. Coen was in breach of Rule 214, in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended S. Coen for two race days.

The Raceday Stewards informed Andrew Kinirons, trainer, that Ukiyo would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Colugo, trained by Ian Patrick Donoghue, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount reared in the stalls.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Akashaa, trained by Natalia Lupini, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered late on. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Star Allure, trained by Ms Claire O'Connell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount was hampered inside the final furlong. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

W.J. Lee, rider of Verhoyen (GB), trained by M.C. Grassick, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount changed legs and shifted right at a bit of water.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages of this race involving Moyassr, ridden by Adam Caffrey, placed second, and Verhoyen (GB), ridden by W.J. Lee, placed first, where it appeared Verhoyen drifted right into the path of Moyassr. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Adam Caffrey stated that his mount was carried right and he felt it had cost him the winning margin. W. J. Lee stated that his mount drifted slightly but he felt the second horse had initially hung in behind his mount. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that while Verhoyen had caused minor interference to Moyassr they could not be satisfied that he had improved his finishing position as a result of this interference so they made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and took no further action.
