The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

S.F. O'Keeffe replaced B. Hayes on Shanbally Kid, trained by W.P. Mullins (Race 7)(stood down).

115A Killarney Avenue Hotel M'dn H'dle

Following a report from the IHRB Veterinary Officer the Raceday Stewards interviewed Joe Hennessy, Authorised Representative for Richard Hennessy trainer of Time For Talking, that she could not locate the microchip for the animal. Joe Hennessy said he bred the horse and confirmed that although the IHRB Veterinary Officer was sure it was the correct animal, the microchip could not be located. Having considered all the evidence the Raceday Stewards pursuant to the provisions of Rule 90(iii) ordered the withdrawal of Time For Talking and referred the matter to a Senior Racing Official for further investigation.

115C MD O'Shea's Tourist Attraction (M) H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Disco Dancer trained by Gordon Elliott had blood at both nostrils post race.

115D Kelly Bros H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards interviewed T.E. O'Connor, rider of Fast Felix, trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, concerning the fact that he jumped the inspection hurdle on the way to the start. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who said his mount cocked his jaw, ran at the hurdle and ended up jumping it despite his best efforts. Having viewed the recording and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

T.E. O'Connor, rider of Fast Felix, trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped a hurdle on the way to the start despite his best efforts.

115E Gerard O'Sullivan Memorial Novice Schase

The Raceday Stewards fined Henry de Bromhead, trainer, €65 for fitting a tongue strap to Butch Cassidy which had not been declared and ordered its removal.

115F Donie Sheahan Mem. Irish EBF (M) Beg Sch

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident turning into the back straight involving Affinity Rock, ridden by D.J Gilligan, and La Note Verte (GB), ridden by P. Townend where it appeared La Note Verte got marginally tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.J. Gilligan said he kept his racing line on the run to the fence. P. Townend said his filly had a little look at the wing on the approach to the fence but had plenty of room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

115G Tote Killarney National H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined O'Moore Park, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have wounds to its left fore fetlock and coronary band and also pulled its right hind shoe.

P. Townend, rider of O'Moore Park, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled but completed the course.

S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Shanbally Kid, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped poorly and didn't feel right so he pulled up after four fences.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Shanbally Kid, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from E. Bolger, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Pride Of Place, placed first, as compared with its recent form. E. Bolger said the return to better ground has helped his charge return to form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the contents of the report.

115H Hugh Mulryan Mem. (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

E. Finegan, rider of Hill Silver, trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Steward Secretaries' that his mount clipped a heel on the run away from the stands. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video footage and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Mr H.C. Swan, rider of Lucky Signal (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stumbled and fell independently. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video footage and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Mr A.P. Ryan, rider of Mischievous Fun, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount clipped a heel early on. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video footage and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Mr O.T. Gilligan, rider of Society Gent, trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount clipped a heel early in the straight on the first circuit. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video footage and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
