Evan Nugent replaced J.G. Gilligan on But What About Me, trained by Barry T. Murphy (Race 1)(Raceday Stewards Permission).

263A WTW Willis M'dn H'dle

Kevin Healy, rider of Rule Seventeen, trained by Simon Cavanagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel. The IHRB Veterinary Officer confirmed the animal to have blood at both nostrils post race.

Brian Barry, rider of Isthatrightkatie, trained by Miss Katy Brown, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was nearly brought down at the last hurdle.

263B Séan Daly Memorial H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cocofred, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

P. Byrnes, rider of Hopes Are High, trained by William Durkan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped a hurdle on the way to the start. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video footage and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

263C Adare Manor Opportunity M'dn H'dle

Anna McGuinness, rider of Speed For Fun (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount made a bad mistake three out.

263D Hughes Memorial 110 Series Final Hcp Hdl

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pride Of Place, trained by E. Bolger, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

263F Kilsaran H'cap S'chase

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the turn into the straight involving Hashtag Pretender (FR), ridden by S.W. Flanagan, Soldante, ridden by Kevin Healy, and Cappa Hill, ridden by Sam Ewing where it appeared Hashtag Pretender and Cappa Hill got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S.W. Flanagan said he got severe pressure from his outside. Kevin Healy said his mouth was hanging right and he did his best to try and keep him straight. Sam Ewing said he had to check when he received pressure from his left. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Kevin Healy was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record in this regard (first offence), they suspended him for three racedays.

Kevin Healy, rider of Soldante, trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout and got hampered on the way to the first fence.

P.K. Donovan, rider of Typical Thomas, trained by James Andrew Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the second last.

For this race meeting, the Raceday Stewards suspended the ‘Starting Procedures for Tape Starts’, and the IHRB suspended Rule 208 (i) and Rule 209 (i).
