The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

J.J. Slevin, rider of Eternal Reward, trained by Ms Margaret Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount charged at the start.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.J. Slevin, rider of Eternal Reward in regard to the start of this race where it appeared he broke into a canter before the flag was dropped resulting in a false start. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who said his mount put his head down and he can be seen raising his hands to try and stop it. Having viewed the recording of the start which included an audio recording of the starters instructions and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards acknowledged the riders report made at scales that his mount charged the tape despite his best efforts, but were not satisfied the rider made an immediate attempt to restrain his mount and as such was in breach of R208(v)(b) in that he had failed to comply the starters instructions and having considered his record (second offence), they suspended him for two racedays.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Break My Soul, trained by Ian Patrick Donoghue, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the second last hurdle in this race where Rocky Alfonso, ridden by P. Hanlon, jumped between the wing and the hurdle. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that a breach of Rule 215 had not occurred and that no further action was warranted.

H.E. Sexton, rider of Papagei (GB), trained by Thomas Gibney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran into the back of the winner after the line. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video footage and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the start of this race and having consulted with the IHRB Starter they took no further action.
